About this deal

If you’re prepared to relax the boundaries of right and wrong and allow some ever so convenient plot turns then this is a fun and frivolous read. I follow Sophie on Instagram, find her entertaining and realistic so was intrigued to read her first piece of fiction.

Before turning to writing, Sophie worked in PR and considers promoting the world’s biggest fish finger as her career highlight. Er, this isn’t what they bargained for and they to not intend to spend their short time on the island tramping about in nature and contemplating their navels, so they decamp to a very upmarket establishment, where Cara is confronted by the last people on earth she would expect to meet. Absolutely fantastic and hilariously funny had me laughing all the way through and loved all the adventures of the mum's. I was loving this book when it was based on 4 mums enjoying a hen party in Ibiza and getting themselves into a whole host of hilarious situations.Once in Ibiza it is clear nothing is going to plan and obviously her sister is there celebrating her hen do too.

I loved every second I spent devouring this book and I can’t wait to introduce it to so many more people. For Cara, it's a chance to forget about her messy divorce and explosive feud with a stardom-seeking sister and Pina-Colada pickled mother. Loved the characters, they really did make it a joy to read and it gosh I loved the cringe worthy moments - I’m even laughing to myself while writing this review! I lost count of the times where I had to put the book down because I was crying with laughter and had to implement emergency kegel manoeuvres to ensure I didn’t have an accident!she is excited for a hen do to Ibiza when her best friend Jac gets engaged, but disappointed that the hen do won’t be for another 2 years. This was an easy summer read, I think I would enjoyed it more had I been reading on a hot beach rather than a wet gloomy North West town! I can't believe the cliffhanger at the end though so I really hope she brings out the next part really soon.

I am a follower of Sophie and was so looking forward to this book, who doesn't love a crazy hen story? Mums on ditching kids, partners and better judgement for a long-weekend of sun, sea, and sex…y support pants. The book took me a while to get on board as I could not stop thinking that Cara is not Sophie and Cara husband Dom in the book is not Steve her husband. They fly into Ibiza and soon arrive at Unicorn Utopia (yup), their sacred spiritual sanctuary in the middle of nowhere.Sophie’s first fiction title has a lot going on- cheating husbands, running from a cult, drug dealers, a murder… but somehow Sophie brings it all together with her characteristic witty and zany sense of humour. The drama, the accidental drugs, private planes,a camp for swingers, drag Queens, hit men,are only some of what happens the girls on what should be 4 days on the lash, in the sun!

Swapping emotional baggage for 10kg of hand luggage, she soon realises even on holiday, the darkness of your past has an alarming way of catching up with you. From here on in, the novel romps its way to the end, as it loops and bucks and gurns (referring to the ecstasy gurn), with a short hop over to Las Vegas.

Sophie lives with her husband, two children and an extremely spirited beagle, and is currently writing her next book. Propelled towards internet stardom in 2017 for a parody of Ed Sheeran’s ‘Shape of You’, her stand-up, songs and sketches focus on the messier side of life and the truth about parenting.
