About this deal

Especially that first time, he got what he wanted and then he was done and sent her packing 2hrs later. The girl was the most dumbest and embarrassing character I’ve ever read who also had the audacity to show superficiality in certain moments. The back and forth was frustrating, yet somehow I tolerated it, because they were two complicated and messy characters, just like real life is. After the worst start to her employment imaginable, almost getting herself fired on the first night, she gradually gains the trust and friendship of Julian’s two children, the sweet young Samuel and the troubled teenage daughter Willow. The way it just explodes into a giant mess that could become a complete and utter tragedy, but you can’t stop watching it.

Tee resides in Sydney, Australia with her husband and their three children where she is living her own happy ever after with her first true love. He was cold and I felt like he was only focused on the sex with the h and then he flipped the switch and was mushy sweet with her. She starts to dance freely, not trying to be cool at all, and her hips move to the rhythm as she turns to look in the fridge.

L. Swan is so good at writing great romance, her stories are about relationships, and you really get invested in the characters and the romance between them.

Brielle and Julian get off to a rocky start and while their love story doesn't come easy it is very satisfying when they get their HEA. I usually don’t like age-gap romances but these two had a ton of chemistry from the start and though early on it seemed that Brielle was just out of high school and taking a gap year or something like that, we find later on that she is actually an Engineer in Australia, and is 25 years old. First of all, I'm not giving this book a bad review because I stumbled upon some erotica and was appalled by its existence. Besonders liebe ich es wie sie alles zu verbinden versteht, die Thematik, die ernst ist und der Humor der immer wieder dazwischen kommt mit einer großen Portion Spice! Push/Pull:Yes They both push away and also pursue the relationship at times, but I'd say the H is the main purser.

The heroes inability to commit (or even know what it was that he really wanted) and his frequent f*ck ups pared off nicely with all the GROVELING that followed after. He didn't keep a mistress, nope he hired multiple high end prostitutes to give him what he wasn't getting at home. But anyhoodle, had the character’s emotional journeys been stronger, I could have seen this working, even with the alphahole. He and the woman are the only two standing by the bar now, and it’s apparent that he’s avoiding sitting down beside me. In conclusion, if you love trainwrecks with an alphahole hero and lots o’ sex and not a whole lot of sense, you may enjoy this.

Side note- as a romance reader I've met many heroes who thought themselves broken and incapable of love . I was HOOKED from the start and experienced the most wonderful and yet angsty emotions throughout, talk about a roller coaster ride! Brielle, our heroine, had a disastrous relationship with a man with mental problems and she is now trying to move on and trying to enjoy life again. The turns in the plot are sharp and it’s very dependent on big emotional swings that didn’t work for me.Sparks fly instantly and she soon is begging for her job when disaster ensues for the first few days on the job.
