An airlock is not supplied but can be used in conjunction with a demijohn bung our Immersion Heater which is supplied with a special bung to take both the power cable and an airlock. The lid is undrilled, so you’ll need to drill a hold in the top to fit the airlock and bung/grommet that you choose to use with it. The white colour of the container is not accidental - in any other colour the material could become discoloured under the influence of the alcohol produced, which could result in passage of toxic dyeing substances into wine.
