Colgan needs to find a better way to wrap up their saga and move on to more interesting (strong women!We know he saw his mother but we don't know if they are all living together as a family or anything.

Sif's wife cannot come to Scotland and will ruin Sif's chances and the boys' chances at citizenship. The lack of communication, especially between Joel and Flora, is maddening and, as a therapist who reads these books for escapism, I almost found myself exhausted after some chapters as I was mentally trying to coach Flora into more assertive communication and tell Joel to get over himself.

Jan's gorgeous sister Olivia wants to get married at The Rock, and this causes some strife with the sisters and everyone around them.
