About this deal

All thoughts and opinions expressed are the reviewer’s own and are not influenced by the brand or affliliates. Devon 4x4 are synonymous with 4x4 preparation and maintenance, we are generally considered the market leader within our industry. Had our daughter in it from 5-months, she's now 2-and-a-bit and is happy in it, take it camping, on holiday and to friends when crashing over. Once both poles are threaded through you have to bend them into arcs to give the cot its unique structure.

When it arrived, I couldn’t believe it was the travel cot – it didn’t feel heavy enough,’ said out tester Charlotte. If it was shaped like most cots on the market then, admittedly, it wouldn’t be as easy to pack down and carry around. Now that she’s moving I often close the side but still open the top as it allows her to stand up and look out when she is awake. If your child is not particularly tall, I would say that the Arc 2 is suitable from birth to 3-4 years old.We use it in the garden or on the beach as a shaded play tent, and occasionally as Rosie’s bed when guests are staying in her bedroom.

This lightweight travel cot can be put up in moments, with it's colour-coded poles, for a solid night’s sleep on a comfortable foam mattress. Mattress is fairly thin so doesn’t feel as comfortable as other travel cot mattresses on the market, like the SpaceCot Alfa's, which is much thicker.Due to the tent poles sticking out on each corner the Arc 2 takes up a little more space than a traditional travel cot (85cm wide by 133cm length), but we’ve so far not had any problems squeezing it into any hotel room. The only tricky bits I have found are putting the fitted sheets on (they are a bit tight) and putting it up in a confined space. A nifty zipped panel at the side of the cot allows you to lift baby in and out easily or, if they’re a crawler or walker, they can move in and out themselves while playing.

While its design makes it look flimsier than it actually is, this travel cot is surprisingly robust. This cot is brilliant, I have been trying to look for a light weight cot so I can fit it in my suitcase and avoid having to pay for another bag on easy jet and this cot is perfect, light weight, quite small when folded but large when assembled. Initially, we were a little confused and there were several adults all weighing in on what it should look like and where it should all go. The Littlelife Arc 2 is a compact, portable and lightweight travel cot that's easy to use and a dream to assemble. Only two complaints are it's side-entry, which can be hard to put a sleeping bubs into (as opposed to the LL which has top-entry), and the zip is quite loud if you're zipping them in.Bought it with a view to travelling, as can be easily packed in a holdall - particularly small if you leave the mattress behind and use whatever else you have available underneath it, or just stick it on the sand at the beach - you can get a sunshade for them. She slept incredibly well on it, and another time I would probably leave the mattress behind and just take the sheepskin! It’s difficult to compare this to other travel cots because it has really been designed for adventurous travel,’ said our tester Charlotte. The Arc 2 is compact, with the rucksack measuring around 25cmx40cmx32cm - and with a bit of squeezing it would squash down further. There is a possibility that a child could put a ground peg into their mouth, but only if they were left lying around.

It has been designed to look more like a miniature tent than a traditional travel cot and is put together with poles fed through an oversheet. The zip-down front and top mesh panels with safety toggles are see-through, allowing you to keep an eye on your child at all times. Our travel style is always PACK LIGHT, so when I found out I would be reviewing the Little Life Arc 2 travel cot, it sounded perfect for our travels! It has a two-pole frame offering great stability and easy access through the enlarged zip-down front panel. Unfortunately, the instructions I had didn’t quite match the product as they’ve updated the colours but, once I’d figured it out, while a little fiddly, it wasn’t too difficult. The LittleLife Arc 2 doesn’t come cheap, however, if you travel a lot and often, it’s worth investing a bit more into a good quality lightweight cot. The Arc 2 is ideal outside for naps during the day or as a secure play pen and during the night can be used inside the awning or campervan.
