Granted the XL version of the Coleman Event Shelter we have is a little on the large side for your usual festival site camping (this was a quiet site with it being the first year) but for three families to use (to shelter from the sun or the rain) it was absolutely brilliant. We had it on stand by for the street party we had for the Royal Wedding in June so that we could all eat our cucumber sandwiches and drink pimms under it, but it wasn’t needed. Due to their design, gusts of wind may lift them from the ground and if they become unpegged, this could cause a hazard. Because of the relatively small factory inventories at outdoor clothing collections, we can not guarantee for constant availability of all parts of our online collection. We do not currently ship to Northern Ireland, The Channel Islands (or other off shore islands), Isle of Wight, or the Isle of Man.

The canvas has been produced from durable polyester with PU transparent coating offering a Hydrostatic Head of 1000mm for excellent waterproofing! For use in a light breeze and on those dry days please ensure you take the time to peg the shelter securely. Caution with fire must always be used, as flame retardant fabrics, will still catch fire given the right circumstances.The simple Event Shelter from Coleman is a practical solution offering great shelter from the sun and mild rain whist hosting your outdoor event! Due to the design of the Event Shelter having very upright walls you can easily utilise every square metre of the shelter and with the Performance version you get all of the walls included so you can keep the weather out.
