okay fleabag is my absolute favorite show ever and i actually think i enjoyed reading it more than watching it. It was only watching it recently that made me realise I had Fleabag: The Scriptures laying around on my shelf, a birthday present from last year (from my sister who was equally in love with the show when we watched it).

I liked the added touch of behind-the-scenes thoughts from Waller-Bridge, though a lot of it was thanking other people for their hard work so it felt as though I was reading an awards show transcript as opposed to a book. We're meant to think that it is a symbol of power, a symbol of fertility, some people are exploited for it and it pays your fucking bills.
