Our Old Tom recipe came about from Christian's find of a distillers handbook dating back to the 1840s with a handwritten recipe for an Old Tom. The final part is the aftertaste, which has enough lingering on the mouthfeel and it dissipates at a perfect rate.

I can't recommend enough, perfect for if your interested in Gin, history of gin, just history in general or you just like a good drink!I taste a mix of juniper, obviously, but not overwhelming, nice earthy tones, perfect amount of spice ‘liquorice’, floral and potentially lemon citrus, and coriander. An interesting evening hosted in a small craft gin distillery - informative, relaxed , atmospheric and convivial with some nice drinks supplied - we had a great evening and I would recommend this.

Key to the recipe is the absence of contemporary botanicals and the focus is on a balanced, intricate botanical mix redistilled with neutral grain spirit. He was very entertaining and gave a brief history from where gin came from and how it’s developed over the years.
