And if anything, come for the cameos and the crumbs of who's next because my greedy hands are already clamoring for what's coming in King of Greed (of which my pre-review may have a lil hint). Isabella was a truly unique character with a personality that was equal parts sassy, charming, and witty. One was a purplehead with an outgoing personality and a too high to be elegant laugh and the other was a well tailored business man with glasses and a sophisticated British accent. However, the cover also tells me that this book is the second in a King of Sin series and when I began reading about a conversation which included strawberry flavoured and glow in the dark condoms, I dropped all thought of it being about lions. Neither of them enter into this relationship lightly, and yet they can’t dream of staying away from each other. isabella is the tattooed, free-spirited bartender at the exclusive valhalla club and kai is one of their most elite members known for being very proper and very rich (he’s halfway to husband material on that alone 🤪).She literally put her all into this book and I‘m not kidding when I say that Kai and Isa are so far my favourite couple by hers (besides Bridget and Rhy ofc)!
