About this deal

I prefer his books that have a more tangled story such as The ice monster, The Beast of Buckingham Palace, even Code Name Bananas but maybe because I like the history element being thrown into them. They are annoying, rude, and mean but there is a worthy lesson to be imbibed from the exciting adventure this book takes you on. One of the greatest elements of this book; as with all David Walliams’ books, is that it perfectly walks the naughty line.

Het meisje Larker wordt vanwege haar flauwe grappen en stoute gedrag naar de allerergste school die je maar kan bedenken gestuurd: The Cruel School. Only downside to it is that it has a lot of different characters to keep up with/remember who's who but, honestly, this just gave me an excuse to do even more daft voices for each person!

This story is about a girl that meets like a monster and then they have a lot of adventures together but the problem is that it is lie illegal for her to have the monster because it is dangerous so the story is about the girl and the adventures of the monster but also how she tries the monster to be friends with people so that she can demonstrate that the monster is not dangerous. Parker’s only friend, the gardener, gets turned in a huge, masculine bogey, who is so sticky that he sticks to all of the other monsters, and they make the mega monster! I certainly loved reading it, it reminded me of the books I read growing up (I used to love reading Roald Dahl). The plot rushes too quickly with no chance to build any character relationships, or to feel any empathy.

There wasn't anything original here, now for the kids who are new to this kinda adventures, I suspect they'll have a blast, sadly I found this the weakest of his books, would I chance another tale from this funny, charming comedian? Ebooks fulfilled through Glose cannot be printed, downloaded as PDF, or read in other digital readers (like Kindle or Nook). We kept talking about how great it would be if there was a giant monster made up of all different monsters. His books have now been translated into 40+ languages, and also include picture books illustrated by Tony Ross.Larker is a girl who got sent to Cruel School when a teacher picked on her and wrongly accused her of violating school rules. Megamonster is an action-packed page-turning adventure, set on an island in the middle of shark-infested waters – where the Cruel School stands on top of a dormant volcano. When Larker is sent to the school, she quickly realises something very odd is going on… something involving Doctor Doktur, a pair of strange spectacles, and a ‘Monsterfication Machine’. This magical story of bravery will convince little girls that courage does not differentiate gender.

This book had everything one expects from a David Walliams book; a fantastic story, wonderful characters, and a great message for young readers. I think this about the 18th book by Mr Walliams that I've read and it is as good as any of the others. When Larker is sent to the school for pulling a prank, she quickly realises something very odd is going on .To access your ebook(s) after purchasing, you can download the free Glose app or read instantly on your browser by logging into Glose.
