At first glance these look a little too brightly colored to make effective highlights, but I think if you apply them correctly, anyone could pull off any of these, even on just a regular day! So on the right is the real moon child, six subtle pans of highlighting goodness bringing a whole new definition to holo glow. I do think some of these shades last longer than others for example, Lucky Clover, Purple Horseshoe and Blue Moon last the longest because they have a more colourful base to them whereas Star, Blue Ice and Pink Heart have more glitter and are more on the subtle side so wear off a little quicker but I experience this with most highlighters in general. Most importantly, highlighter makeup makes your cheekbones pop, and that’s something we can all get behind. The biggest issue I had with the palette was that some shades were a little drier/looser in the pan, and of course, these are sparkly and metallic, so they can emphasize pores, depending on how much you apply.
