I personally enjoyed the book most by flipping to the chapters pertaining to areas that I wanted to work on, like self-care, and trying to integrate the tips in the book into my daily routine. Casting runes can supposedly tell you about your future, or at least symbolize deep truths that mere words can not reveal.

My only complaint is that its list of crystal correspondences is absolutely pitiful — amethyst, moonstone, turquoise, jade, opal, and rose quartz… and that’s it. Not what I expected, it's ok but has a different way of approaching witchcraft, if you are really looking for an intro to all things witchy I would recommend other books. I have mixed feelings about the spell that involves exchanging objects with a friend that represent insecurities, and reframing them as positive thoughts or qualities.My religion and way of life should NOT BE TAUGHT AS A WAY TO SCARE MEN OR HEX PEOPLE BECAUSE THEY ARE AN ASS! but there are moments in many witches life where we feel spent, unable to practice magic, that makes us feel less of a witch, it makes us think less about magic and more about stress. It's cute, the illustrations are badass, and it's got some great tips for success as an adult in there.
