Also I can tell what people mean the after smell can be a bit stale and slightly smell like piss lol. It took hours and several handwashes to get it off of me, so if that's your kind of thing you'll definitely be into this. I initially tried all the current Sol De Janeiro scents, and this one had the strongest impression on me - the most gourmand of all. As for how long it lasts, it definitely lasts longer when you spray it on clothes, and it is a body spray not a perfume, and perfumes are meant to last longer, BUT the smell definitely doesn’t disappear as fast is others are saying it does, Ive found it last a couple hours, but keep in mind your brain will ignore scents that have been around for a while, so just because you don’t smell it, it doesn’t mean it’s not there. There's a strong alcohol smell initially, but it fades after about 10-20 minutes so I don't mind it. I'm not getting the 'buttered popcorn' dry-down that others have noted; to me, I smell more chocolate or the toasted macadamia. The first hour or so is nutty, chocolatey, but after a few hours there is the most glorious caramel butter popcorn dry-down.
