About this deal

I assume the drilled hole is mainly required to allow the repair adhesive access to the void between the tile and the underfloor. Floor-Fix Pro is a powerful, low viscosity bonding adhesive that can fix loose or hollow tiles and creaky wood floors. I also had some leakage from the back on one of the tubes, not sure if it was the tube or if I was pumping too hard, but I ended up in quite a mess!

Per previous reviews be careful when removing nozzle from hole at this point still very runny, but a finger over the nozzle stops it. Once applied, it creates a durable and flexible bond with the subfloor, locking tiles in place and reducing vertical movement in floors. According to the maker it depends on the size of the grout line itself but you can drill a hole between 3-8mm. Most purchases from business sellers are protected by the Consumer Contract Regulations 2013 which give you the right to cancel the purchase within 14 days after the day you receive the item. I have a ceramic tiled bathroom floor where quite a few tiles in the centre, mostly where the heating element is located, have become loose.

DISCREET FLOOR REPAIR) Floor-Fix Pro offers a discreet solution to fix loose tiles, creaky wood floors, and LVT with minimal impact. Much of the grouting has crumbled away but although some of the tiles could be lifted out the heating cable is often embedded in the adhesive layer that remains on the bottom of the tile or, sometimes, on the false plywood floor that was laid for the tiles to be bonded to. Allow adhesive to spill up and out of nearby holes to ensure penetration and filling of the problem area.

If the grout line is narrower than 3mm you can drill a smaller hole and use a syringe to insert the adhesive, be careful not to apply too much pressure.Doesn’t work well with tiles that have damaged grouting as it spreads everywhere but under the tile. You potentially need quite a lot (I had to use half a tube just fixing one slate) so could work out expensive for large floors, although probably still cheaper, quicker and easier than re-laying the whole floor! If unsure it would be advisable to seek further advice from the underfloor heating installation engineer who installed your system.

Fix-A-Floor can offer you a solution different to simply replacing loose or hollow floor tiles, with this super strong Fix-A-Floor Repair Adhesive. Place buckets weighted with water on the repaired areas and clean up excess adhesive with a sponge and water. If you have super narrow areas, no grout line applications or wood you can also use our Fix-A-Floor Micro Syringe Injector Kit which comes with an extra-long 14 Gauge Blunt Steel Tip. Repair your loose, squeaky and hollow tile, marble, ceramic tile, stone, wood and porcelain tiles with Fix-A-Floor Repair Adhesive/Glue. He would recommend this product to anyone with this problem as an efficient and relatively inexpensive solution. I'm guessing that as several of the tiles are already very loose and the grout it already missing in many places I might be able to skip drilling the holes and with it the potential for damaging the heating element. The metal nozzle on this tube is really effective and works so much better than those of the competitor products. Although this may be possible we would advise against it as there is a high chance of damaging your underfloor heating. All you need to do is simply apply a little drilling and filling to your current tiles, and they will seem like new again! Simply peel and stick to hard, clean, flat surfaces (note dirt and dust will prevent the adhesive from bonding). flat stainless steel tip, Plastic applicator and cap to seal and preserve any unused adhesive Ideal For use with Fix-A-. You simply drill a 2mm hole each side of the loose tile and then insert Floor-Fix Pro's needle tip into each hole and inject. Elastomeric bonding of many types of sheet materials on walls and floors - tiles, stainless steel panel, splashbacks, wooden paneling, carpet tiles, natural stone cladding, PVCu hygienic cladding.
