Way too long and drawn out, yet with a f*ing cliffhanger and dont get me started on the irony of working towards rescuing abused women and children but still abuse the person you want to be with. pero en todo lo que leí en ningún momento esta esa charla, el chabon agarra y la VIOLA, porque eso es lo que hace y ustedes están tipo "bueno pero ella en realidad lo quería". Pedophelia is one of the worst crimes out there but… The books idea about how pedofile rings work are just weird and wrong in so many ways. I know this is a DARK THRILLER STALKER romance (this book shouldn't even be associated with the word romance but moving on) I don’t care, I want the bare minimum!

I don’t want to talk to much about it, because I’m incapable of telling stories without spoiling things, but I can tell you it was interesting and I was invested!Like I'm genuinely personally offended that I have to associate with her because never do I meet women who are like this in real life. I've already established that it was rapey (it's in the TWs but it doesn't really make it any better imo). Both characters take part in the teasing and dirty talk and ugh, let me tell you, it was years better than the sex scene in this one. I'll have her because she's the first thing that made me feel something good in so long, and I've become obsessed with keeping it. They also had a sort of 'i catch and chase you and fuck you' scene but it was outside in the woods, much longer and much hotter.

Overall I think it could have played up that side of things more and it would have added to the storyline hugely.Just in case someone else went into this not knowing exactly what "non con" is referring to in the case of this story, and perhaps thats something that also bothers them and they'd prefer not to read about. But, I think building up to the first encounter more would have created more suspense for the reader and allowed us to really feel his obsession and what led to him having to stalk her. Like maybe he becomes really great and they have a "sweet" connection at some point, but I don't care.

Anyway, definitely dropping this book, i really tried to power through telling myself that he must do something to redeem himself from the stalking and shit, but there is not redeeming rape to me. I don't careee if it's just a joke or whatever, pick something else to joke about or find another way to show your appreciation for your friend, but stop treating sapphic relationships like jokes. This was my experience after this book being hevily reccomended to me, and I shared it as I have the right to do. i srarted reading this today out of curiosity and i had to stop reading when he put a gun on her vaj. The cringe-worthy lines I've been hearing have actually caused me to literally roll my eyes and stop listening to books because they were just that stupid and even uncomfortable.Still a dumb reason that i don't agree with but then she forgives him anyway) like i don't think rape counts as dark romance, its not romantic. There are also particular kinks such as gun play, somnophilia, bondage, breath play, and degradation.
