Not sure if my bottle is fake (doubt that Hugo would get counterfeited but I might be wrong) or the fragrance is that weak.

As with all new fragrances start off with a small amount until you see how strong of a scent you like, or how powerful it is on you. I don't feel like elysium is "shower gel" or "generic" but to me, elysium smells juicy, bright and complex.

It's more balanced in a way, but I dislike the sweetness because this projects for quite some time, and after a while the sweetness got in the way.

But I would like to mention there are many better options out there, such as Aqva Amara which EASILY beats this. However, two negative traits are undeniable: it does not project that much (say five feet or less), and in about two hours the whole charm comes to an abrupt end. My husband said he likes it but isnt in love with it, however, from a womans perspective, I enjoy when he wears it. Overall, Hugo reversed is a very pleasant, dumb-reach type of fragrance that easily suits as a signature scent if so inclined.I think it’s fairly close to Office especially in the opening, but it does lack Jeremy’s trademarked “POWER! Easy to wear at any time, dumb reach, it's good at what it does but there's a million other frags that do the same thing.
