About this deal

In the Twenties, Angelo Ariotti took over Domenico Rossi’s business and, with it, the recipe and the Krumiro patent, so the biscuit could continue its grand tradition through history, the same as it always was.

The only trouble is that they are unable to keep up with demand and, especially around Christmas time, you could find the product sold out very frequently. Having said that about the product, every single staff is not friendly and rude every time I went there, there is always a frustrating story, this included the owner. Day by day, their pastries became the most beloved in town, thanks to their secret: use only the highest quality ingredients, from a well-maintained mother yeast to IGP hazelnuts from Piemonte to fresh cage-free eggs. Enjoy the exquisite taste of Krumiri and experience the dedication that goes into each and every one. The location was the Oval Lingotto exhibition center in the city during Gourmet Expoforum, the largest area ever to accommodate the competition with its 1300 seating capacity. The family takes care to prepare the cornmeal cookies using Rossi's original three-day artisanal method as well as to package the cookies in the traditional keepsake tin – they're an incredibly popular around Christmas. Krumiri are divine on their own but are also wonderful with other delicacies, with two provisos: the accompaniment must bring out the Krumiri’s flavour without overpowering them, and it must be something special in its own right. Today krumiri are among the Piedmontese specialities included in the Region’s official list of Prodotto agroalimentare tradizionale. v=1702115320"}},{"id":260613013597,"handle":"on-offer","title":"On Offer","updated_at":"2024-01-29T13:50:04+00:00","body_html":"Big savings on your favourite artisan ingredients.

Turin is filled with a mixture of 16 th and 18 th century renaissance, baroque and neo classical architecture. We don’t really know for sure if that’s exactly what happened, but that’s what legend tells and we believe it. The longest nights of the darkest period of the year were deeply felt by who lived their lives based on the rhythms of the land.
