About this deal

While contemporary Tabby's life was meant to be dull in contrast, there were actually things I very much enjoyed about that too. The 80s are such a bold and colourful decade, that there is a lot of potential for scenes set in places such as roller discos (SUCH FUN!

I’ve been pretty cagey with details because you have to take these things slooowwwllyy but today is the day I can tell you a BIT more! Felicity Alexander, Senior Commissioning Editor for Piccadilly Press, said: ‘We couldn’t be more delighted to be part of this Bonnier Books UK group acquisition for Louise’s work. I loved the Easter eggs dropped in throughout the book by Louise Pentland, there are all sorts of references in there for fans of the Robin Wilde series as well as viewers of Louise’s channel. Tackling topics such as single parenthood, postnatal depression, adoption and miscarriage, I find it commendable that Louise has raised these situations which are often not discussed in women’s fiction but are issues women are affected by.Pentland has identified as a feminist and interviewed Labour Party leader Ed Miliband during the 2015 United Kingdom general election. If you’re familiar with the YouTube world at all, you’ll know a lot of big YouTubers have been given book deals. I started it Autumn last year and I’m still fiddling about with it but January was a big month for my keyboard and I and a book is born!

I reviewed her first book, Wilde Like Me, before its initial release, as well as the second book in the series, Wilde About the Girl (thanks to the publishers for those opportunities, I felt so special to be able to read them before their release dates). I understand I can change my preference through my account settings or unsubscribe directly from any marketing communications at any time. For further information about your statutory rights, contact your local authority Trading Standards department or consumer advice centre (for example the Citizen's Advice Bureau if you are in the UK).From the realities of being a working mum (yes, the mum guilt is real AF), to finding love again as a single mum, Mumlife is an honest tale of modern motherhood. She is also a champion for Gender Equality and female empowerment and in 2016, she was named as a United Nations Change Ambassador for Gender Equality.

Life is about to throw quite the curve ball at Robin Wilde, and she'll need to make some pretty brave choices if she's going to stop everything she cares about falling apart. I can happily say that I genuinely enjoyed the entirety of this series, although I will say I am often too skeptical of books written by “youtubers” and “influencers”. The question of ‘is this justifiable’ has been floating around for some time, especially after it was released that another big YouTuber, Zoella, had her first book ghostwritten. I have been wanting to share these photos for a few months now but haven't really known where or when would be best. With an entire afternoon to spare, I’d taken the time to pamper myself and really enjoy getting ready for this night. It’s a perfect summer read as it’s deep enough to lose yourself in, but you’ll find yourself getting through the story fast. She's just such a helper and a giver that she doesn't slow down, yet she loves it and would do anything for her little girl, her family and her friends.

Either way, Time After Time was an absolutely joyous reading experience and I felt bereft when I turned the final page and had to say goodbye to my new fictional-bestie Tabby. With her natural presence and humorous nature, you can’t help but feel that much of her own personality is expressed through the character of Robin Wilde.Having just given up on a ‘literary-type’ book as I just couldn’t get into it – I fancied what I suspected to be an easier read – and as this is out on 21 July 2022, it was perfect timing. From a traumatic birth with her first daughter, to single motherhood, to finding love again and having a second child, Louise discusses the realities many working mums face, and the impact of maternal mental health.
