If you want a compact camera that produces great quality photos without the hassle of changing lenses, there are plenty of choices available for every budget. That wouldn’t make sense for general photography, but for the kid pics that I’m doing, it’s almost always nice to have a little subject separation. I’m a bit suspicious of the practice of nixing AA filters because it feels like gaming a benchmark, but whatevs. In the photo with the white egret on the black fishing nets you will notice the slight curvature in the barn siding to the bottom left of the frame.On the same line of logic that you are using, I personally think it’s over the top to put camouflage on your lenses while shooting wildlife. You’ll still see some of it by f/4 which is a shame, this level of performance is quite bad, it may have to do with the limits of having a smaller sensor.
