About this deal
Today, the most common digital connector comes in the form of HDMI and we're here to tell you what it is, what it does, and why you might need it. What I feel did require testing though, was input lag with both “Instant Mode” and “Blur Reduction” engaged.
To ensure that gamers can duplicate the exact same monitor set-up with the highest accuracy, efficiency and convenience, BenQ made a few additions to the XL2430T’s Adjustment Scale Design. EVERYTHING ELSE about this monitor as far as performance is concerned completely out-classes IPS panels. I'm looking forward to have a simple profile for browsing and games in general and other for CS:GO (in which i'd have colour vibrance set to maximum, 144hz and blur reduction on i guess) As with other monitors in BenQ's venerable XL line, the XL2430T offers plenty of gamer-friendly options, such as special gaming presets, programmable hot keys, blur reduction, and Smart Scaling. After the initial calibration, we get our initial results, showing that the display reaches 99% of the sRGB standard. The reviewer clearly states that the ONLY difference between this TN panel and an IPS panel is viewing angle. This is why BenQ built into the monitor 20 levels of Color Vibrance setting to meet gamers’ specific viewing requirements and preferences for all types of gameplay.
Information about the maximum horizontal viewing angle, within which the image on the screen is of acceptable quality. We found the XL2720Z a bit lacking in light output to the point that even a little blur reduction darkened the image too much. The default value set by BenQ is 10, which resulted in a slightly washed out image after calibration. The horizontal scan rate/frequency shows the number of horizontal lines, displayed by the monitor per second, when it is plugged to a digital source.A 12,000,000:1 dynamic and 1,000:1 standard contrast ratio allow for clear picture quality while the 72% NTSC color gamut allows for more accurate color representation.
