At over 580 pages it a thick book of romance, drama and friendship, I really did enjoy it even though some of the characters names are just really silly, seriously who names their kid Remington Honeysuckle 😆 and shouts 'Holy David Bowie' when frightened. There was romance, comedy, small town vibes, Grumpy/sunshine, suspense, mystery, lovable characters, and amazing plot! So, Remi and Brick finally discuss WHY he has rejected her for a decade, WHY he married her BFF, WHY he made out with her and think they were something then ditched town overnight. I’ll start with what I liked, for the most part I liked the FMC Remi, she’s unique, funny, and brash.From the amazing characters to the suspense, this was exciting, entertaining, intense, and all kinds of sexy. this is going to be the review that i’ll struggle the most because i have so much to say yet i’m still speechless.
