The developers had started from scratch to try to create new characters and venues that would be more reactive to the actual songs being played, to give the feel of a music video, but ultimately this proved too much of a challenge and had to be scrapped. TV is insane I've spent more time on TV than LIVE its streams songs 24/7 yes its difficult to earn plays but i enjoy playing songs i would never really select. As with previous games in the series, the goal is to use a special guitar controller to match fret patterns displayed on a scrolling note pattern on screen in time with the music. Way harder for pro's the 6 buttons confused me massively at the start my fingers didn't know what to do but you pick it up.
If you get certain stars and scores you unlock some pictures (which is pointless, it should unlock something better than that). Ten different bands represent the songs in the "Guitar Hero Live" mode, playing in two different music festivals. The game was released for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Wii U, Xbox 360, and Xbox One in October 2015. The developers recognized they wanted to have a guitar controller that players would not be embarrassed to have in their living rooms and spent time getting the look of the controller accurate to a real guitar. To help with creating appropriate stage presence for the fictional bands and their fans, FreeStyleGames created material that each band would have had in the band's career, such as album covers and clothing, using various musical genres to help inspire their designs.
