Beauty Works x Molly-Mae Curl Kit is a palm-pink, ceramic curling wand which creates perfect, soft curls on naturally long hair and extensions. To use, this curling wand is pretty easy, but it does take a bit of practice, I would say I had developed a good technique of rolling my hair backwards around it by the third time I used it. The 10 pin curl clips are ideal for setting your curls while the paddle bristle brush is perfect for running through freshly curled hair — if you prefer looser waves. I loved the final look I managed to achieve with this curling wand, it didn't however hold very well in my hair but I am going to try out a stronger hairspray to see if it makes a difference. With an adjustable temperature (80-220°C), the hair curler will create loose, flowing curls, or tight, bouncy coils.

The brush is perfect for loosening tight curls while the mat and glove protect you from the hot barrel.

Because by offering various temperatures, the tool can be used by a wide variety of users who have a range of different hair types. I did burn myself several times whilst using the tool, on my ear, my head and several times on my fingers as I held the hair in place so I would recommend getting a styling glove for protection. Neither curler is necessarily better than the other but if you have your heart set on larger-than-life curls, Volume 2 is probably the best option for you. To try and create a last hold, after curling each section we then wound the curl around and pinned it to our head using the supplied curl clips.

Remember to set and prep the hair with the ten curl kit clips provided and dress out with the oval shaped paddle brush. My favourite way of having it is curly but I have never managed to find a curler that is easy to use, creates nice big bouncy curls and is affordable.
