I think overall, Ari smells better on clothes while Moonlight smells better on skin and lasts longer. Like any other Ariana Grande scent, it's perfect for a young girl who's getting their first perfume, or anyone who just likes to smell sweet and girly. To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average.

I will say AG fragrances all seem to have a very similar scent profile (no surprises there) and if you enjoy them I think they would play well together. Top notes are Plum and Black Currant; middle notes are Marshmallow and Peony; base notes are Vanilla, Sandalwood and Amber.

Whatever the reasons, I feel fondly Big Sister-y about this perfume, which is Grande’s third—and she’s only 24! Personally not something I would wear, but it's not a terrible choice if you're into more playful, light fragrances. It smelt really good, the projection was amazing and she would go out for 7 hours and I knew when she got back home. I am aware her perfumes in general don't last long, however, this one definitely is one of her weakest ones. I feel like she wants to be the new Britney Spears but the scent isn't there yet, it's just sweet and fruits.

I got so many compliments with it, compared to the other perfumes of hers that I've had (Ari and Thank U, Next). It’s got that Ariana Grande Perfume DNA (probably from the marshmallow) but it is different to the two before it.The fresh and crisp notes of peony mingle perfectly with the playfulness of marshmallow for a whimsical middle layer. It isn’t anything mind-blowing that I think you need or you’d be missing out on but it does smell yummy. the opening is really fruity, and the dry down is marshmallowy sweet and somehow powdery, but not in an old lady way. I would also probably never go anywhere near a perfume like this as you said, I would think it would be suited to a younger audience. It does remind me of a scent that would sit more comfortably with young women, I am 24 and I feel that it is an exiting, girly feminine scent which would be perfectly suited to an evening out.It's name is appropriate because it's much more night time orientated than any of her other fragrances.

And for the record; I blind-bought this perfume purely for the marshmallow note, which I'm generally speaking *obsessed* with.The real downfall of this scent to me is the longevity and sillage, I've never gotten a compliment wearing this perfume because it has no projection and fades almost as quickly as I apply. In addition, as we give you the option to choose what best suits your needs from several sellers, you have the power to decide so you can make your purchase as you wish. Personally, I'm pretty sensitive to peony so when I first sprayed it I got this fruity peony smell which I hated.
