We read this series because we are in love with Ty and Zane but the development of the secondary characters (and all of their traits) are what bring the story into the realm of "all-time favorites". Ty and Zane are determined to get Julian Cross to DC in one piece, but it’s starting to look like it might be the last thing they do.

He also tells of how he was unable to succeed at placing curses on Christians who were truly walking with their God as opposed to unbelievers or the lukewarm casual Christians. Zane is a man who once lived for his job but has come to realize his heartbreaking past doesn’t have to overshadow his future. So, it was with great interest that I picked up John Ramirez's book, "Armed and Dangerous", and I was certainly not disappointed!Yet many believers live in denial, letting the enemy steal their blessings, destroy their relationship with Jesus, and kill their hope. Also, I kind of expected Ty to have more reaction to Jonas' betrayal, but perhaps we'll see more of that in the next book. My favorite chapter was “Beginnings: Good and Evil,” which talked about the birth of spiritual warfare and listed different types of evil behavior. With Cross and his innocuous boyfriend, Cameron Jacobs, in tow, Ty and Zane must navigate the obstacles of a cross-country trek, including TSA pat-downs, blizzards, their uncooperative prisoners, CIA kill teams, a desperate lack of sleep or caffeine, and each other.

I have a lot of time and energy invested in Ty and Zane's relationship so I'm just excited to be along for the very bumpy ride! No matter how scrappy Julian may be, I seriously doubt he would be able to disarm a rogue CIA agent, strip the slide off his pistol and knock him unconscious. Though it was nice to have some background information on Julian and Cam, I continue to stand by my review of Warrior's Cross. Yet many Christians live in denial, letting the enemy steal their blessings, destroy their relationship with Jesus, and kill their purpose and identity. It’s true what they say, the higher you go in your spiritual life, the higher the spiritual warfare becomes.The Adventure: is twisted and involved enough to keep the reader on their toes and not really seeing what is to come. out of 5 stars for The Spiritual Warrior's Guide to Defeating Water Spirits: Overcoming Demons That Twist, Suffocate, and Attack. Unlike earlier books where the focus was on the main couple, we are introduced to two new characters, Julian Cross (the only witness to a contract killing) who Ty and Zane must bring to DC in one piece, and his milquetoast boyfriend, Cameron Jacobs.

One of the difficulties with critiquing pop culture is the problem that it does not seem to last in the public eye for very long the days, for the most part. So even when circumstances might suggest that Burns could be betraying them, and possibly trying to kill them, they ignore the evidence based on the trust of years.

Here is everything you need to fight for your purpose, your destiny, your family and your loved ones--and even for unbelievers so they, too, will have the opportunity to make it to the cross.

This book is written using terms such as the Church of Jesus Christ and terminology of the cross (rather than the stake) and Bible translations slightly different to the one I prefer.

I think they had reached the point of (to put it crudely) shit or get off the pot, when romantic relationships either end or deepen into something lasting. I still don't like how Julian appeared to be 'better' than Ty, but Ty clearly wins that one; he's simply the best.
