About this deal
A record that boosted the mash-up mix-style of old and new material and (sometimes their own) special rare remixes. Unfortunately it’s unlikely to piss yer parents off as much as it did in 2002 cos they probably already know it! To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average.

By 2002, their project Soulwax (then predominantly seen as a “rock band” though the lines were already starting to blur) had crossed over from Western European curio to the forefront of the more US driven post-punk revival. From Salt 'N' Pepa's "Push It" cut up with the Stooges' "No Fun", to Destiny's Child's "Independent Woman" over 10cc's "Dreadlock Holiday", blending seamlessly into Dolly Parton's "Nine to Five", the tracklisting may look like someone's idea of a joke, but somehow it works. Included are some great Soulwax mashups, and I don't think there will be anyone at your party who does not love at least some of this cd, and most people will love it all. This is quite possibly the ultimate party soundtrack with something for everyone and the emphasis firmly on fun.Alongside like-minded allies such as Erol Alkan, Tiga and Jacques lu Cont, 2manydjs swept dancefloors into delirium, gifting a rock ‘n’ roll attitude to club culture. Starts off great, picks up the tempo, and merges some more obscure stuff, with some classics that everyone will know.
