Adding an extra disc is perfect for larger homes, those with thick walls or when you need wi-fi in your garage or garden. In fact it is a good idea to disable the smart hub Wi-Fi while setting up as it can confuse the syncing process, this is mentioned in troubleshooting, however, I found this out after hours of trying, it should be more prominent I believe.

Range of these AC2600 discs is much better (bigger discs with larger antennas inside / more antennas). Also if you are concerned about any damage to your floor it is your responsibility to put down a protective layer. With Whole Home Wi-Fi coverage you can have TV, films, music and games on any device, in any room, with no dead zones or drop-outs.They just wanted to stay linked to the base station, but with a long thin house, I needed them to daisy chain wirelessly in a line, so the furthest discs kept saying “weak signal”.
