About this deal

The rain guard for the Bushnell Legend Ultra HD's eyepieces is made of a softer rubber which stays where you put it by friction. The lenses are fully multi-coated, with anti-reflective and water repellent coatings that will resist moisture and condensation. The neck strap included with the Bushnell Legend Ultra HD is a nice wide one — but this one goes a bit further than simply nice and wide.

I’m so impressed with this offering from Bushnell that it resides on two different rifles that frequent the squirrel timber.

Glass/Clarity: What strikes me as most impressive about this scope is how amazingly clear the glass is. Its high magnification of 10x and high quality optics enables the viewers to meet the expectations from the monocular. What surprised me further was the level of CA control and contrast available in that sweet spot as well. They are not re-settable to zero, but I’ve never dabbled in the resetting of turrets so it doesn’t effect me as a squirrel hunter. Once removed there is an attachment point that I utilized to attach the monocular to my chest harness system.

With a carry case, land yard, lens cloth, and lifetime guarantee included, it feels like Bushnell is doing as much as it can to provide peace of mind as necessary and protect our investment. Over the last 13 months or so, I have had 3 pairs of the 8x42's, and while none were defective, the ease of use and optical view was nowhere near as good as the 8x36 or 10x42 model. Bushnell 10x42 Legend Monocular is water proof and fog free monocular that is supplemented with O-ring sealing and nitrogen purged. However, now everything seems to be pointing to the Legend Ultra HD as the best ED bang for the buck and the current Elite 628042ED running over 400 bucks.I notice the non-ED Elite in 43/50 MM has been discontinued as well as the non-ED Legend, but it's still all quite muddled. Since their release, Bushnell have updated the series and you can now get the Legend Ultra HD in the mid-sized 8x36, 10x36 configurations and the compact 10x25mm roof prism models. Read more about the condition New: A brand-new, unused, unopened and undamaged item in original retail packaging (where packaging is applicable). Personally, the picatinny rail serves little purpose for me and just adds a little of bulk to the unit as a whole. The larger field of view enables the viewers to keep focus on large area, a helpful feature of the monocular at action sports and landscape view.

I found the apparent resolution of the Bushnell superior by a tad than the Nikon in the central area of the field. Not everyone will feel this addition is crucial, clearly, and it does add to the width of the device too.The ED Prime Extra Low Dispersion glass, fully multi-coated optics and premium BaK-4 prisms capture the moment with vivid clarity and contrast, even in low-light conditions. those in the following table are courtesy of the Bushnell spokesman who looked them up and provided them to us.
