We rely on getting out and about so very much to keep our sanity and even if we didn’t, the little dog needs her walks. The ‘duo directional' seat flips from forward facing to parent facing mode and has a built in harness on both sides of the seat so that there is no need to fiddle around adjusting the harness every time you change the direction of the seat. It’s more of a make-do in the lie-flat mode and you don’t get the stability or purpose-built features of a dedicated travel system.

Perhaps it’s because I’m used to an ISOFIX base that is rock-solid I was nervous about using it and stuck to short-haul hops.This is the one I’ve chosen, I’ve not had the to and fro before but have had the cosatto bro and sis, which is the same but doesn’t have interchangeable seats.

I will also say the one negative about this is that if you were using the pushchair is parent facing mode, and then wanted to use the car seat, you do have to flip it back - something that does slow down the process a little bit. The chassis is compact and has umbrella fold with auto lock and carry handle for easy moving and storing. Parent-facing mode, to me, just seems better when you have a smaller baby, while older toddlers will enjoy looking out at the world.

The hood is reversible boasting a different fabric design on either side and simply flips over when changing the pushchair from forward facing to parent facing – very simple but very clever! What I loved was that each side has it's own harness (although you do have to pull these through if you want to adjust the height of them - we had to do this when we used it for Parker in newborn mode, and Indiana in stroller mode.

First, it makes them sleep all the time - which sounds great, until night-time beckons and your babe's been sling-snoozing all day long. Maybe not an issue if you don't drive (I could not have lifted it into my boot) but just thought I would share. Im having a nightmare trying to find a double as I have 7 seater 4x4 car, soon to be 5 kids so a tiny boot!At first I did feel like I was going to break the hood when pulling it through, but it really was so simple, and doesn't take long at all. If a box looks damaged in any way, shape or form it should be signed for as ‘box damaged’ and any damage/missing parts must be reported to us in writing or by e-mail within a reasonable period of time (ideally within 24 hours).
