I'm not a big fan of extra cards in tarot decks, especially with vague descriptions, so likely I'd use the deck without this one. She is passionate about teaching others to read tarot for themselves to bring clarity and guidance to their lives. The card backs are simple yet complex, with pentacles in each corner and a circle in the center adorned with flowers.

One interesting fact is the many of the cards have some kind of reference to air -- a dragonfly, fairy, butterfly, or other winged creature -- which is something you don't often see in tarot decks. The box quality is the same as every other deck I own I tend to keep the boxes for show and then put the cards in a dedicated tarot bag that I create. Since many readers have come to form strong associations with the Rider-Waite deck, the Crystal Visions Tarot remains true to this classic 78-card system in much of its symbolism, as well as in card and suit names and numbering. This is a deck that seems to speak to you right away, almost as if it is an entity in its own right.

The artist's "cool" and "warm" palettes make it easy to recognize the elemental associations in any given spread. The past few years have brought to tarot talented artists such as Lisa Hunt, Ciro Marchetti and Stephanie Pui-Mun Law.It has been a while since I've discovered a new deck to add to my short list of professional reading decks. A fascinating thing I noticed in this deck is that for the cards that can signify change or rebirth on some level, there are butterflies as part of the symbolism for those cards. I’d love to see a Tarot In A Tin version of this, hopefully, it will be something they publish at some point! I feel that even a beginner to Tarot could successfully learn Tarot with this deck and the proper books for learning this subject. I think my clients will like it, and I know I'll enjoy reading with it, especially when I need a change from RWS clone decks and I'd like something soft yet powerful.

More butterflies here, not elementally appropriate, but acceptable, because they are flying out of her palm chakras. I have read in the little white book over and over but I just don’t get it fully, as English is not my everyday language.
