About this deal

The Walmart near my workplace has it in 24 can cases, as does usually the Marsh (supermarket) near my home. I have been using the Elmer's for a couple of years now for certain projects (Painted projects), haven't seen the name change, but I get mine at Lowes, as I haven't seen it at Home Depot. There are several actions that could trigger this block including submitting a certain word or phrase, a SQL command or malformed data.

I do like it reconstitutes with water like timbermate, so no waste, I only use it when it will be painted over, otherwise timbermate is my go to. I usually use the 2 oz tubs, and it takes me a long time to go through it, so when I eventually crack open the 32 oz one, I'll portion it out and make sure I keep it sealed/moist. Elmer's carpenter's Wood filler for interior use is ideal for repairing holes, dents, scratches, gouges and defects on any wood, wallboard, molding or painted surface.

Actually the stainable one is much grainer and really sucks, in my opinion, for filling balsa voids. You can change your choices at any time by visiting Cookie preferences, as described in the Cookie notice. Use a putty knife to apply into the hole you're trying to fill, but use a small scrap of wood to level it, using a back and forth movement just like you're sanding with the block .

If you leave excess and plan to sand it off that will work too, but you will go through a lot of sandpaper ; ) This filler dries super hard - much moreso than typical wood-fill or vinyl spackle. But then the harden putty just fell off but I think it was too dry, so I’m going to try again since I’m getting more. Find a shade that matches your stained top, gouge out a little of the Elmers and fill the top of your hole with the colored putty, flush with the top of your piece.I've tried Famo (didn't like it but don't remember why), the Elmer's and others in tubes (can't get it out of the tube), the ones with "Real Wood" (don't like the texture, saw dust, or fibers).
