The book is concise ; moreover, there is a summary of the eight chapters at the end of the book, which is useful in case one needs a reminder a few months after reading it. Finishing what you start will always require “sacrifice”, such as giving up time, spending money, or increasing effort that could be spent on activities you enjoy. That's not necessarily a bad thing; it makes for a good personal reference manual for when you want to review strategies. I see this book got a lot of hate because it was "too basic" and "common knowledge", but I personally find it revitalizing to bring it back to the basics. If you're someone who already has a basic understanding of organasing the day and all that entails, and looking for a something which builds up your breadth and width of the subject, then skip it.By the time I finished it i'd written 10 pages of new habits and techniques to adopt and how to make sure they were permanently adoptable! background so that we don’t even realize that our discipline is lapsing until it’s too late and all of our past efforts have been wasted.
