GCV160 Honda Carburetor

I could try to pop the choke plate off my old carb and swap the whole assembly onto the new carb but I doubt I'd have luck re-attaching the plate properly. I don’t understand this but when I turn it off the fuel will continue to fill the carb until it runs out of the carb and it didn’t do that before. We have a variety of aftermarket parts, including a Honda GCV160 carburetor, ignition coil, and starter handle.

Edit: forgot to add, if the air filter was really clogged, wait and see if a new filter and new spark plug fixes it.In addition to parts for the GCV160, we also offer Star Tron Enzyme Fuel Treatment, which improves the performance of everything from boats, to tractors to generators. It does not need to be drained or shut off, but everything else does or the carb goes bad in a year or two. Now is the time I wish I had some Vessel + drivers and/or a pair of Engineer Nejisaurus "screw out" pliers, but I don't. Was a little unsure what the quality would be like on this carb, but I was very impressed when I got it out the box.

I would clean the air filter regularly, but eventually it clogged even though it looked fairly clean. Makes me think there's some water in the tank that the added gas diluted or dispersed enough for it to run.
