It smells a bit old school for some maybe but the fact is, it's a very complex and well blended niche quality fragrance which keep selling even almost 4 decades after the launch. Only the strong Benzoin accord - the note that makes me think of my childhood instantly cause it was omnipresent in fragrances back then and all 'grown ladies' smelled of it - makes it take that jump from lotion to perfume. A first impression of this perfume (and by looking at the notes) would be that it is a bit old fashioned, very warm, spicy, maybe more of an autumn/winter perfume. What lingers right at the end reminds me of one of those back-in-the-era chewing gum; like a Wrigley's Juicy fruit - after you've worked it a bit.

Overall: This beautiful, unique Pierre Bourdon gem has great performance with a small scent bubble that adds versitility. To prolong the scent of the fragrance, we recommend using products range as shower gel, body lotions or deodorants. It was my first perfume, which I was gifted as a child, and it brings fond memories of spritzing it in the places I lived. I had great hopes for Sun, and when I tried it, I really liked it, and still do, and I'll spray it with abandon this summer.

But all three of these perfumes are quite heady, with tons of orange blossom along with their resins and vanilla -- heady, rich combinations that I personally have not encountered often in my perfume journeys here in the US.

I was sort of digging how weird it was until it just settled on being a sweet red bull and Jasmine perfume. There's something my mind interprets here as a breeze on a warm-ish day, I am not exactly sure what.There's a lot going on here, with heliotrope, ylang, carnation, lily of the valley and rose all suspended in orris butter.

Which fragrance would stay long and would smell like summer without it being aquatic like Davidoff’s cool water? for me it is sun at the end of spring not summer but i m sure this scent if you like it you are able to wear it all year.They have orris root in common but I doubt is that because it's like an animalic note that bothers me. It is creamy, calm, radiates light, and has a very soft sweetness about it that adds to its charm and brightness. My overall impression is of a powdery perfume than anything summery or beachy, but that doesn't detract from its loveliness.
