There is only one exercise in the first few weeks that *requires* a cable (rowers): You can definitely get started without a cable. The program features Jillian's trademark Metabolic Training workouts: quick, focused resistance circuits and cardio blasts to obliterate fat and shred muscle. The workouts are approx 35 minutes long with a warm-up and warm-down period while the cardio workout is 26 minutes with a 2-minute warm-down. Jillian Michaels acts as an adjective and not a possessive noun, in this case, describing the specific sort of body revolution one might have). But having to relinquish my gym membership, and my personal trainer, to save money, I thought I would give Gillian a go.
I really want to make sure I start it on a Monday, because having a real, set in stone schedule is very important to my ability to stick to it. Here's my best tip if you're doing Body Revolution: If you are doing this program and struggling with the low calories I would suggest upping them 100-300 once in a while as I did.
