The minimalistic design of the K2 V2 complements the MacBook and adds an elegant touch to my work setup (I don’t have a work setup, but it would be a great addition to yours). The Obinslab has macro-programmable keys, customization software, and its latency is significantly lower, making it a much better choice for gaming. The limited switch options is a little disappointing (I would have preferred clears over browns), but everything else about this keyboard makes the trade-off worth it. Keychron K2 Wireless Mechanical Keyboard - Version 2 (UK ISO Layout) has included keycaps for both Windows and macOS.

The function row is the same height as the number row instead of being slightly taller like on most keyboards, so it may feel different for some, but it shouldn't be too much of an issue. It has Bluetooth connectivity, so you can pair it to a wide variety of devices, and you can keep your setup wire-free. The K3 has better ergonomics because its lower profile makes it comfortable to type on even without a wrist rest. In the manual, they recommend Karabiner for macOS and SharpKeys for Windows, but we don't test for these programs. Comes with more than 22 types of RGB backlight settings (as well as a static white backlight option), and 14 types of backlight settings on the White Backlight version.The K2 is a compact (75%) keyboard that connects wirelessly via Bluetooth and can connect with up to three devices, while the C1 is a TenKeyLess wired keyboard. John 31/10/2020This is a lovely keyboard which I'm using with my 2020 iMac - instead of the keyboard that came bundled. In the end, I still think that if you really need something specific like me, it is still a good purchase. Having QMK/VIA integration was super helpful as it let me map the SCREENSHOT button to INSERT, something I occasionally need for work. I have been looking around for a while and found at least four different options: RK61, Keychron K2v2, Keychron K6, and the AKKO 8086.I also own a Logitch K380, which is slim, compact, portable, lightweight, and also connects to up to three devices. Moreover, if you’re a Mac user, get the K2 V2 instead of spending your hard-earned money on a keyboard that is anything but magical.
