If you want fast, hard hitting thrash metal with some little prog sprinkled in here and there, this is your ticket. even without the lyrics, this band's instrumental attack is so ferocious these songs would sound like the end of the world anyway. That's why each of our records is first meticulously cleaned and then not just inspected once, but twice, before a sample is play-tested to make sure it sounds as good as it looks.

For someone like me who’s mostly into jazz fusion and city pop and the like, this was a welcome break. From "Holy Wars" to "Lucretia" and "Five Magics" to "Dawn Patrol," "Hangar 18" and the title track, Ru st In Peace is an aggressive affair that addresses everything from religious hypocrisy to warfare to government secrecy to heroin addiction. But immediately after that, you wish they would cut them like the Europe 1990 pressing - they become way too unpleasant to hear. Escapando del Maestro (El Adoctrinador)” is a track that exemplifies the fusion of synth-inspired sounds with .EX (Excellent): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening of sound quality. One final note to those who are interested, beware to get the original 1990 issue / edition of this album. Never owned a copy before this reissue so can't say much in terms of comparisons but I noticed that you kinda need to crank the volume up a bit for this release. Be careful, many sellers are mistakenly selling the 2023 reissue (which has the same barcode) under this listing. One of the undoubted great metal albums ever released, Megadeth perfecting their own trade with pin point technicality and groove that rightly places them at the top of the genre along side Metallica and Slayer. Any true Trash Metal lover must own a copy of this alongside with some other classics of the genre like: Metallica's "Master of Pupets", Slayer's "Reign in Blood" and Sepultura's "Arise". Perfection from start to finish , if you like thrash metal , incredible solos and blistering guitar riffs .Regarding the remaster, I havent heard the original but this edition has a very well-balanced mix and is a delight to listen to. First impressions: Glossy sleeve was nice, LP stuck in the stupid printed inner but got it out with some TLC, and ended up with a completely flat disc.
