About this deal

The fourteenth series is yet to be commissioned by the BBC, although Lee Mack has stated that since the 2023 Christmas Special will be the 100th episode, he may bring the show to an end. Lee Mack announced on Alan Carr: Chatty Man that there would be a Christmas Special in 2015 and possibly another series in 2016. Mack said it would be a "marvellous thing to do" considering the fact that Ball's real funeral venue was limited, due to Covid-19 restrictions and the limited number of people who could attend. Previous to this, the show was not simulcast on BBC HD, but shown on BBC HD 30 minutes after the BBC One airing. Replacing the supposedly offended knife thrower as a finale, Lee threw genuine knives at Lucy – on a rotating wheel for the final one.

After Teddington Studios closed, series 8 was filmed at BBC Elstree Centre and series 9 and 10 were filmed at Pinewood Studios.Mack is the last remaining actor from the original cast, and the only actor to appear in every episode. In Gay, the series' second episode, 51-year-old Guy first appears and he soon becomes Lucy's boyfriend. Not only are friends Tim (Tim Vine) and Daisy (Katy Wix, Torchwood) - Tim's ditzy girlfriend - on hand to cause problems but this year Lee also has to cope with stolen drugs, missing OAPs, long-lost daughters and a coma.

Also features Hugh Dennis, Abigail Cruttenden, Geoffrey Whitehead, Deborah Grant, Bobby Ball and more. Lee comes close to admitting his feelings to Lucy several times over the course of the series, particularly at the end of episodes Therapy and Play, but although she is receptive, he changes his mind each time. As ever, uber-ditzy friend Daisy (Katy Wix) is on hand to offer her usually unsolicited and always completely unique take on events, while Lee’s dad (Bobby Ball) and Lucy’s parents only ever seem to result in him further tying himself in ever-more-complicated knots. Lee is unburdened by ambition or drive, drifting from one ill-advised job to another, living off the goodwill and generosity of his landlady, Kate (Megan Dodds), a clean living Californian. For the first time you can view the complete series 1-7 of Rose d’Or award-winning sitcom Not Going Out, starring BAFTA winning comedians Lee Mack and Tim Vine, alongside Sally Bretton, Miranda Hart, Megan Dodds, Katy Wix and Hugh Dennis. Not Going Out is a British television sitcom that has aired since 2006, currently starring Lee Mack and Sally Bretton with Geoffrey Whitehead, Deborah Grant, Hugh Dennis and Abigail Cruttenden. One of the reasons the show came back after cancellation was due to strong dvd sales so why have the latest episodes not been released. Very often, the only thing that can get Lee off his sofa and active is his efforts to impress the girl of his dreams. Tim soon finds himself drawn into Lee's many schemes to impress Lucy, most of which backfire, fail to impress her or land them in trouble.

All seems to be going well for Lucy and Lee until a murder mystery game brings family tensions to a head. It stars Lee Mack and Sally Bretton with Geoffrey Whitehead, Deborah Grant, Hugh Dennis, and Abigail Cruttenden. Lee joins Daisy to compete on the hit TV show Pointless (yes, really): how could he fail to prove his intellectual prowess to Lucy? Series Two: Lee’s flatmate Kate has moved out for good and his best mate and landlord, Tim has put the apartment up for sale.Frequently between jobs, he spends most of his days on his sofa watching television or at the local pub with his best friend, Tim Adams ( Tim Vine), whom he has known for 15 years. A short Children in Need special featuring Sir Terry Wogan followed later in 2012 which was filmed in the recording block for series 6. Christmas spirit is in short supply, and their visit takes a turn for the worse as Lucy discovers that the house has not been lived in for years and there appears to be a spooky presence.
