Joe, NECA Munsters & More!As for why else I think a Titan Sky Lynx might be nice, other than to scale with Predaking, well, he does have a very good base mode, probably rivaling that of Omega in terms of how well it is executed. Making that bigger would give more space for Micromasters and other smaller bots to hang out on. The roads are kinda narrow on him to put those bots on, I feel. Also, a Commander sized shuttle would be big enough to possibly be hollowed out and seat some of the said smaller bots inside, which would let Sky Lynx be that troop transport he typically is in fiction. The lynx component has a tiny space for one Micromaster, but if it were larger, you could also put more in there.

It seems to me that Sky Lynx, while a great figure as a Commander, might have been better served scale-wise, as a Titan figure. He seems somewhat small when compared to his nemesis in PotP, Predaking, and I would argue that they'd scale better if Sky Lynx was a Titan. As a sidenote, there appear to be two size categories of Titan figures, the citybots (including Omega Supreme) are significantly taller and bigger than the combiners (Devastator and Predaking). I wonder if Sky Lynx being in the latter category might suit him better than being a Commander. Sky Lynx also has a base mode that is pretty well-executed and arguably rivals or exceeds those of most other Titans, and I would say that making Sky Lynx a Titan would give this base mode more space for smaller figures like Micromasters to interact with. Sky Lynx also has a small space in the Lynx component into which you can fit a Micromaster, and maybe as a Titan, there could be room for more of them. Citybot Titans also have rather simplistic transformations, and so does Sky Lynx, so I don't imagine him being a Titan would have an adverse effect on transformation either.
