About this deal

Taskmaster is already watched by a broad multi-generational audience and in terms of profile was Channel 4’s youngest skewing series last year. In terms of audience share of young viewers (16-34) it is in the top three in the coveted 9pm slot, with Gogglebox and Derry Girls. Taskmaster is also hugely popular on All 4, where it is available for free and, since 2021, the average views per episode [0-7Days, O+O] have grown for the title with each series The challenge involved throwing one of the items over to the caravan and completely covering another with the third item and placing the covered item on a barrel without touching it. The Taskmaster's Assistant and creator of the hit Channel 4 series, Alex Horne, presents the ultimate Taskmaster treasure hunt, with 101 brand new, next level tasks for you to try. Taskmaster Education takes elements of the show and uses them to inspire, engage and teach children and young people. Tasks can be adapted to meet a near infinite range of teacher objectives, whether curriculum-based or more focused on social and emotional development. For the finale's third challenge, the contenders had to play copycat chess, replicating Alex's every move in the exact same time as him. The group task saw two teams composing a specific lullaby for a profession of their choice, with Mae, Jenny and Kiell penning a soothing one for a watercolourist and Ivo and Frankie coming up with an inappropriate one for a dog walker.

Greg Davies, the original Taskmaster, said: “My long-term contempt for young people is a matter of record but other people here at Taskmaster HQ seem convinced that they have merit. I am thrilled that two new team members are putting this questionable hypothesis to the test and will take on the challenge of corralling and assessing them on television. I will be watching closely to ensure standards are met. I am also delighted that Alex and I return to test the intelligence of comedians in the most scientific of ways. I’ll be pretty angry. It’s not even an act anymore.”

We are very excited to announce the release of a new Taskmaster book, Bring Me The Head Of The Taskmaster. While Sarah had to be very careful when throwing her scissors and Fern patiently used felt-tip pens to move potatoes without touching them, Dara rather enjoyed throwing one of his pints of Irish cider over to the caravan. He also had the biggest advantage as his human pal could move around the garden freely, hiding the other pint in his work coverall and allowing him to complete the task in under one minute.
