About this deal

Either after #605 above or between Without Fear and Marvel Knights: Amazing Spider-Man (2018) #10, Punisher (2018) #2-3, Deadpool (2018) #9 War of the Realms: War Scrolls (2019) #1-3 In late 2004 Brubaker, no longer exclusive to DC, began to work for their main competitor Marvel Comics. It gave us his famous run on Captain America, but also his take on Daredevil, exploring the ramifications of events closing Bendis’s run.

Collects (1964) #301-311 & Annual 8, a crossover with Nomad (1992) #4-6 and Punisher War Journal (1988) #45-47, and material from Marvel Holiday Special (1991) #2. Journey into the imagination of Stormbreaker Peach Momoko as she takes her version of the Marvel Universe to the next level! Welcome to another dimension — one filled with wondrous creatures: sentient samurai armor, a winged individual in a falcon mask, a mysterious panther person and a red, snakelike monster with a deadly appetite. When Mariko Yashida finds herself in the middle of a war between these creatures, will she be forced to choose a side? As Iron Samurai clashes with Shield of Justice, this war is anything but civil — and their cataclysmic clash could devastate two worlds! Collects a three-part Typhoid Mary story from Typhoid Fever: Spider-Man (2018) #1, Typhoid Fever: Daredevil (2018) #1, and Typhoid Fever: X-Men (2018) #1. Due to events in issue #611, this must occur prior to #606.World War Hulk: Daredevil appears in some of the street-level stories of this event during #93-94, including Front Line #2-6 and Damage Control #1-3. See Marvel Universe Events: World War Hulk Matt appears in every issue of this series. For further Elektra series and appearances, see Guide to Elektra The rest of this volume isn't quite as good, The early issues, #158-167, which were originally Daredevil Visionaries: Frank Miller, Vol. 1, are mostly Miller as artist, and they're more typical superhero fare (though they set up villains like Bullseye and the Gladiator who carry into Miller's issues proper). The latter issues, #183-191, which were originally Daredevil Visionaries: Frank Miller, Vol. 3, are much more scattered and contain some questionable stories. But, there's still innovation and the excellent issue #190, one of the best in the entire Daredevil run.

Collects Daredevil Vol. 1 #271-282, Annual #5-6, material from Punisher Annual #3, Incredible Hulk Annual #16, Silver Surfer Annual #3. Daredevil by Frank Miller & Klaus Janson Omnibus oversize hardcover (ISBN 0785185682) Includes What If? #28. A prior printing was ISBN 0785126694 and had a glued binding. Reprinted in 2016. It starts with Matt in prison and the story with the prison riot and breakout but the way he faces off against Fisk and Bullseye and even Punisher and then escape and the whole thing there just wow like easily one of the best stories e'vah! Characterization is also a bit mixed for me with some characters be For the lover of Daredevil/Spidey friendship, you can read Greatest Spider-Man and Daredevil Team-Ups, which covers team-up from 1964 to 1994.

Daredevil was relaunched in 2019 by writer Chip Zdarsky and artist Marco Checchetto, who would remain on the title on alternating arcs with other artists. So I've finally read Soule's run, and I'm actually really happy with it. It doesn't seem to have the same reputation as Waid or Bendis or Brubaker (let's not even mention Miller, whose work in the 80s defines the book). Nocenti and others defined Daredevil in smaller ways, but I wouldn't say Soule is a lesser presence on the books. Civil War II: See Guide to Marvel Universe Events – Civil War II. This occurs between #9-10 for Matt. He figures prominently into Civil War II (2016) #3 and The Accused (2016) #1, which are concurrent to each other. Epic editions are also listed below in their chronological placement, as they are frequently the only coverage of a specific run.
