About this deal

Under relatively light usage, web browsing and watching youtubes, the CPU temp stay around 42-44c and never cross 50c. This cookie is set by the provider Akamai Bot Manager. So the first section is just keywords for people troubleshooting / planning out their build, probably not very useful for most people

Added to this is a custom design "B660" motherboard that offers all the standard amenities we as consumers would expect, including PCIe Gen4 support for storage and graphics cards and features we don't typically see on an ITX platform like four-slot DDR4 memory support. This allows the DeskMeet to support 128GB of memory when typical ITX platforms max out at 64GB. Memory: 2x 8GB DD4 - Corsair CMSX32GX4M4X3800C18 @ 4000mhz CL-17-17-17-34 1T, 360 tRfc cycles (~180ns tRfc) The tiny office PC offers customisable specifications and has an affordable price tag, making it ideal for use at home or work. It comes with Windows 11 Home 64Bit as standard, as well as up to a 16 core Intel® Core™ i9 chip, 4-64 GB RAM, and up to 8TB of SSD storage for all your important files, photos and documents. Notes1) Compatibility is still vague. This worked for me on Deskmini x300 but not on the b660, even though the b660 has no issue driving a GPU over ADT m.2 riser. I'm hoping we can make a compatibility chart with a list of risers and parts that work and which system they worked with.

CPU Temp:**During idle/light work: mid 40c, around 42-46Watching 4K youtube: 53-54c with no frame dropPrime95 (blend mode): upto 90c in the first 15mins

First up, Prime95 in Blend mode. Whilst a lot of people are a fan of small FFTs mode for thermal testing, I find Blend mode to be more realistic of a heavy real world workload – as it stresses not only the CPU, but the RAM and chipset too. Well well well, 1998, we meet again. Stamped, single use expansion slot covers? Is a blood sacrifice to the PC gods incoming?I'm probably one of the first group of buyers for this, and I see there are some missed in the review, and not just here but elsewhere too. And I start getting question on reddit about this. So I figure I posted here also. Related Story AMD Ryzen 8040 “Hawk Point” APUs For 2024 Laptop Lineup Revealed, Zen 4 & RDNA 3 Refresh

The Corsair memory used is identical to the x300, it's from the same quad-channel kit, with identical main timings + tRfc (except for some minor sub timings). However memory latency was coming in much higher on Aida64 latency testing. About 65-69ns on the b660 vs as low as 51-55ns on Ryzen 5700g. 69ms memory latency is comparable to what the 5700g has @ 3200mhz. I am unable to explain why, but it is not a good result. Read and Write performance however was great @ 60GB/s. The DeskMeet isn’t really intended to be a high end gaming system, however the marketing appears to be more orientated at business, creative, or HTPC use. Smaller GPU support, but more storage and RAM for those big projects. 4k video editing in 8 litres? Here we are! The potential is very much there. The memory kit I have used is comprised of 2 pairs of G-Skill F4-3600C18-8GVK, making up 32gb total. A not inexpensive configuration, but definitely affordable. As the score shows, this is a good configuration for this system. However, it does seem like users may not be using the correct speed for this model of memory, with a few benchmark results for this kit running at 2133mHz.

In short, we believe that this is the world's best way to test an SSDs gaming prowess and accurately compare it against competing SSDs. The 3DMark SSD Gaming Test measures and scores the following: The Smallest Custom PC on the Market – Our incredibly tiny office PC is powered by 12th generation Intel® Core™ processors up to the latest i9 processor and integrated Intel® Full HD graphics. Despite being barely bigger than a can of Coke, this ultra compact PC is more than capable of handling all your multitasking needs when fully specced out with the most powerful CPU, ample file storage and extra RAM. What I'm doing right now is basically getting a baseline of what option I will have. I think I may need to add a few 40mm-50mm and a fan hub. And now I also know I should be able to add dGPU w/ 250-300w w/o issue assuming it physically fit. So, I think the 500w PSU is not very that bad come to think of it. It very just right for the GPU that will fit. Let's make this clear, I have the unit in somewhat poor ventilation, about 1/2cm top and 1/4cm bottom of open space. There is not much point of posting pictures of the hardware as you can see that anywhere else but I think people here maybe interest in like how much power it use or the stability and temp so that's what I'll give it a shot here. I have very minimal stuff on at the moment and the system take about 30-31sec from hitting the power button to fully loaded with no login.

The shell of the DeskMeet’s case includes no electronics. Just a SECC steel box with a plastic front panel. Modding potential? Well.. Another look at the dimpled front panel – many drive mounting options here. Around the integrated front panel ports is a cutout “flap”– likely designed to bend out of the way to aid board installation. Aesthetics aren't big on the agenda, granted, since this isn't a windowed case, but all the cable bulk does affect airflow, dust build-up, and ease of building.
