About this deal

I NEEDED TO KNOW cuz these two were driving me insane, especially Xander with all his pushing and pulling and the whole "my mind says no but my body says YES", and the "i hate you but i highkey love you" thing he does.

I flip off those who slowly broke me, who turned me into this pathetic shell of a person. Those who took pleasure in igniting my breaking point and watched me as I fell. Those who threw me under the bus instead of pulling me to safety. Those who fed the fog and allowed it to rule my life." If you’re trying to make your character dark and menacing at least try to make them appear, I don’t know, convincing??The hero’s first meeting with the heroine, everyone. Can you imagine the derisive laugh I had to STIFLE after reading that?! 😃😃 so basically, this book is a combination of broken knight, ruthless knight, and bully, so if you like these, y'all should try this but again, keep in mind the triggers people!!

Es la historia más emocional de todas, la que más me hizo sentir y luego es Childhood Friends to Adult Lovers y yo AMOOOOO ese tipo de libros. I loved Elsa so much, she WASN'T a doormat at all and stood her own. Oh, and her friendship with Kim... *I'm not swooning over the friendship more than the relationship* This is making more sense now because he can’t love the girl who’s parents were responsible for his mothers death 😭So first, the writing is terrible. Seriously, I've read many a fanfictions that are written miles better than this. My god. The same points are repeated over and over. The author forces awkward descriptions into the text in a 4th grade attempt to add "context" and "detail." This may take the crown for worst writing in a book that I've read. But I don’t have to say it aloud. Aiden must’ve read it in my eyes. He really knows me more than I know myself. A series with all 5 couples (Levi, Aiden, Xander, Ronan and Cole) in the same trope (dark bully enemies to lovers), is reaaaally too much to my taste, and I know that I will compare and I will find all the same. the side characters. It just warms my heart ❤️. It also gets me excited to read the next ones 👀 I mean... I'm already in love with Aiden and Elsa lol

I admit that this book was addictive and I wanted to know what actually happened and is going to happen. But i also feel this book is very similar to Fear Me by B.B. Reid . First things first, I would like to point out I am not a spiteful or malicious person by any means which I hope my fellow Goodreads members/friends/followers can testify to with my interactions with them. Everything that has happened in and out of these groups, not to just me but others as well, the author addition to her little minions need to be called out on their shit. All of that rambling and ranting that you’ll bear witness to below aside, everything that has transpired has left a bad taste in my mouth and I can’t support authors who treat readers or anyone in general like this. So I would like to apologize in advance for this long ass message so without further adieu...But why? Does it hurt too much? I’m going to kiss it better. Daddy says it heals when you kiss it.” One thing I really liked about this book, as well as the others is the supporting characters. I love the four horsemen. Xander is known as the horseman war which is fitting because he is full of anger. Ronan is a great guy in this one and he sets out to make Xander jealous throughout the book by dating Kim. Aiden and Cole even jump in to help a few times to try to get Xander to make a move or at least do something different. This book contains dubious situations that may be offensive to some readers, so it’s important to be aware of its content before diving in. About the Author I have no problem with the plot because even though it is semi-clichèish I enjoyed the plot twists. I liked the characters but I occasionally do get annoyed with them. I also think that this should have been a duology not a trilogy. I think that some part of this book was unnecessary. I liked that this book has a psychological vibe in it (I won't discuss it here, just read it, you'll know what I mean).

I’ve read Truths & Lies duet by her and I think I marginally enjoyed it (because my previous self was less judgmental and critical and more open-minded, BUT my friends on GR have brought out this overly vicious side of me and I feel this inexplicable need to excoriate every HS book I read *growl* 👹)

Aiden King is the most popular guy on campus. He is dark and broody and doesn't talk much. The four of them (Ronan Astor, Cole Nash, Xander Knight and 'the mighty king' himself) are also known as the 'Four Horseman.' They are the golden boys of the town and loved by all. Am I super excited knowing their daughter ends up with Jeremy?? Yes. My favorite Elite couple and one of my favorite book couples uniting as in-laws? Per I want to marry someone I love. Someone who flips my world upside down by just being there. Someone like Aiden.”
