About this deal

Really disappointed that her character ruined this book for me. I enjoyed the supernatural elements and like Leon. The sex was hot and creative and Leon has some different anatomy going for him which was actually really hot. This book taught me I’m into vayjay penetration by ✨ s h o t g u n s ✨, being slapped, called slut, and carved with a knife. Amongst other things. My soul is yours to take, Leon,” I whispered. “If you’re still alive...if you can hear me...it’s yours.” Thank you to my beautiful love Jennie I couldn’t have imagined reading this with anyone else the way we both cried and laughed and not to forget got frustrated made this read amazing

Also, did I mention that Zane's hot? Because he definitely is. I love how he's so chill and unbothered HAHA (although Leon executes that personality the best) but ugh, still, he's so hot. Have I already mentioned that I hate Victoria and Jeremiah? Well, I do, especially Victoria she befriends Juniper only to stand by and help her father and his cult try to sacrifice her. I was excited to see more of Callum and Everly. We did get a little more of them with this book and what Everly strives for (and I can't wait to see what they do next). Seeing more of Rae and Leon was where it was at for side characters. I absolutely ate up the moments that we got more of Leon. I remember I literally read Her Soul to Take in a day like 2 months ago and I got obsessed. Then hearing about the second book & that it was about Juniper & Zane, I was all for it 👀 I think I had psyched myself up too much for expecting a perfect retelling as I really LIKED the first book. It was such a perfect and great balance between the sex and plot and the plot KEPT ME SOOO HOOKED! But for Revenge, I found myself not really caring about almost anything. The plot felt very repetitive, and not just because we were repeating the same timeline but because a lot of the kink, characterisation and "smart mouth" dialogue was just almost rinsing and repeating Leon and Rae. While I really did enjoy the banter and sex, I guess I wanted more "newness" or aspects uncovered in the plot, but these were never delivered. I already knew what was gonna happen, every twist and turn was already done and mapped out and there was nothing amazing added (besides an epic nightclub)first of all, i expected this book to be very smutty, but it was more based on the plot?? even though there were some steamy scenes, but it was more based on the other plot lines and it was dull for me so i couldn’t concentrate on what was going on at all. i like romance as a subplot, but it requires the plot to be very intriguing. this one didn’t have such thing. i love when authors add their versions of hell/heaven in books, because it’s a big space for different ideas, but harley’s hell wasn’t written well enough for me to care so i didn’t even understand half of the plot aspect. and it’s mostly the reason why i couldn’t finish the book. Obviously, the smut was also so freaking hot, dirty and just filthy AF!!! I thought the smut in book one was dirty but boy I was not prepared for this one here… it definitely hit different!

Not gonna say anything else, I know that everyone who loved the first book is gonna read this, and when you have I'm here to fangirl next beside you. I love them sfm 😭💗 everyone say thankyou harley laroux for writing such masterpieces. <3 Can't wait for the third book!! I really liked their relationship, not as much ad Raelynn and Leon because they're my babies, and how they fit so well together without wanting to make the other person change. When Zane starts to have feeling for her it was so fun to read because he was so confused! But also how willing to slaughter anyone who dared to touch his woman was *chef's kiss*. He was obsessed with her and wanted to stand beside her while she protected herself because he respected how much she needed to be in control of her own life and all this while still being supportive and just admiring her. Specially towards the end where he got all sappy.... It was cute! I loved his personality but was not expecting him to be so unhinged! Loved it! The fact that Leon stayed with Rae and protected her even after he found the grimour bearing in mind She hadnt taken the deal of giving her soul meant everything. Taking her soul for Leon was important because demons possessed and he wanted Rae to stay immortal with him forever. The fact that he stayed showed how much affection he had towards Rae as he hated earth because of all the torture and captivity he faced due to the hadelighs HOW CAN WE NOT LOVE LEONThere are places on Earth that are cursed all the way down to their roots. Places that hold pain, that tasted blood and can’t get enough. Places where darkness grows, and even in daylight, they lie under a shadow. I'm kinda of obsessed with all demons in this book, they're truly way better than the humans here...

Her Soul for Revenge is book two in the Souls Trilogy but can be listened to as a standalone. It contains sexual scenes including kink/fetish content, horror elements, drug use, scenes of trauma, anxiety, and PTSD. They were both clowns. Leon is out here making impassioned monologues, claiming he’ll rip Heaven and Hell and Earth apart before he lets anything happen to Rae Lynn… and then… things… keep repeatedly… happening to her. Her Soul To Take is so filled with dirty and dark stuff I found myself shrugging and nodding (and also panting a little) at the craziest stuff that happened y the end of it.harley laroux made the amazing impression on me after “the dare” and i thought i would like this one too but.. there were just too many things that i either didn’t care about or they just annoyed me.
