About this deal

LONG BATTERY LIFE- The Logitech M720 just keeps going, with 2 years of power on a single AA battery

The one thing I will say about this mouse is that, though it can be programmed otherwise, it is mainly for right handers. I am right handed, but there are times where I want to use the mouse with my left hand while writing or doing with with my right hand. Left handed people might not like the design of the mouse catering to right handers (like so many other mice out there) Corsair’s Harpoon RGB Wireless is a solid choice if you want a more pronounced arch than that of the Logitech G305 Lightspeed, Bluetooth support, and a rechargeable battery. But the G305’s sensor performs just as well in an ambidextrous design we found more comfortable to use over time. We've converted this review to Test Bench 1.5. This update adds a new Main Button test group, which provides button actuation data and switch information. We've also made minor changes to how we calculate the Office usage score. For more details, you can see our full changelog here. DUAL CONNECTIVITY - Use with up to three Windows or Mac computers and laptops via included Unifying receiver or Bluetooth Smart wireless technology

With an Intel Core i5-8500T (Coffee Lake) CPU and 8GB of RAM, this review unit was able to cut through daily productivity tasks like word processing, heavy web browsing, and video streaming with ease. I ran some synthetic benchmarks to give an idea of where the performance sits compared to a bunch of laptop's we recently reviewed. CPU

Following the update to Test Bench 1.2, some of our test results have changed within both the Weight and CPI sections. We've added or modified some of the text in this article to clarify these changes. For starters, I will say that I love the weight and size of the mouse. My hands arent abnormally large or small. I'd say they are about average (pinky to thumb spread length ~8.5 in). My previous wireless mouse was much smaller and less comfortable to hold, so going to a bigger size was really nice. For those who had a BIGGER previous mouse, going to this mouse that is smaller might be something you dont like. Make sure you know what the dimensions are before buying. The weight of this mouse makes it feel premium, but isnt something that you have to "lug" around. CROSS-COMPUTER CONTROL - Game-changing capacity to navigate seamlessly on three computers, and copy-paste text, images, and files from one to the other using Logitech FLOW Battery: These systems do not support batteries that are not genuine Lenovo-made or authorised. Systems will continue to boot, but may not charge unauthorised batteries. Lenovo has no responsibility for the performance or safety of unauthorised batteries, and provides no warranties for failures or damage arising out of their use. **Battery life is based on the MobileMark® 2014 methodology and is an estimated maximum. Actual battery life may vary based on many factors, including screen brightness, active applications, features, power management settings, battery age and conditioning, and other customer preferences. The Logitech G Pro Wireless is a close second to Razer’s Viper Ultimate among top-tier gaming mice. It’s similarly performant and ultra-light, with software that works on macOS. But we think the Viper Ultimate’s shape is more accommodating to different hand sizes, and Razer’s cable is much more flexible.

The best budget wireless mouse: Logitech M720 Triathlon

The more we used the M720 Triathlon, the more we appreciated this mouse, despite its limitations. Read on to find out why. Design and Features

The trade-off is that a mouse this big may not be comfortable for those with especially small hands. There’s also no left-handed option, which is unfortunately common for heavily sculpted mice in general. Still, most people should find the MX Master 3 a treat. The best mouse for most people is the Logitech MX Master 3. It’s not cheap, but its design and versatility are befitting of a high-end accessory. It’s supremely comfortable, first and foremost, with an ample thumb rest, a gentle slope for your middle three fingers, and a slight flare-out for the pinky. There’s a significant hump at the mouse’s base, but holding it, the design feels like it was sculpted with a hand fitted around it. It works excellently for both palm and claw grips, and while it’s relatively weighty, the heft adds to its premium feel. So does its finish, which is plastic, but hard, textured, and grippy. The Logitech Options software lets you change configurations and program buttons. You can swap the left and right buttons, change the pointer speed, and adjust the scroll-wheel direction. Adjusting the scroll-wheel speed didn't dispel our sense that the "hyper-fast" wheel was a shade too slippery. However, we did feel that the left and right tilt/toggle action of the scroll wheel was just right, with no resistance. Razer’s Synapse software is another suite that isn’t exactly known for its robustness, but we didn’t encounter any major issues in testing, and the app itself makes it relatively easy to adjust RGB patterns, CPI presets, polling rate, and the like. The version the Viper Ultimate uses is only supported on Windows, unfortunately, though it’s not like macOS is much of a gaming platform to begin with. The mouse itself can store up to five settings profiles on its own internal memory. To use the mouse, you can plug in the Unifying receiver and be up and running. Or, you can pair it with a host via Bluetooth. To do the latter, just tap and hold the third button on the mouse to initiate the Bluetooth pairing process. In between the two mouse buttons sits a battery-status LED (which we never saw lit, since the battery was in good shape), a button, and forward of that, the scroll wheel. The scroll wheel is pronounced, with a prominent raise and a ribbed texture. The wheel is touted as "hyper-fast," and that claim doesn't feel very far off from our experience with the mouse. We flew through scrolling tasks, with little stress on our joints or muscles. Stopping precisely proved more challenging; we'd classify it as almost-too-fast scrolling. Scrolling: Idk why everyone else hates it, but I love the scrolling on this. I like using the free-scrolling where I just rol it and let it go for a second or two. But it is also really easy to just switch to traditional scrolling bit by bit. If you use Logitech’s Options software—which works on Windows and macOS—you can customize how these features work on an app-by-app basis. For example, you could set the horizontal scroll wheel to navigate between tabs in Chrome, control zoom in Photoshop, and scroll horizontally in Excel, and the mouse will know to adjust automatically. All these features can be a lot to take in, but they genuinely help the mouse speed up routine functions. The Logitech G305 Lightspeedis the best affordable wireless gaming mouse. It's a smaller, no-frills device, but it offers great performance at a more manageable price.
