About this deal

The 650mAh battery requires a 5V/1A charger and a USB-A to USB-C cable. We initially had issues as it will not charge off a USB-C to USB-C cable attached to a USB-C PD 2.0 charger. Charge time is 132 minutes, and it is good for 30 days standby or about 16 hours use (we will take their word for that). If you select metric, the laser measure defaults to millimetres. Many may prefer to set a default in metres. Questo prodotto può essere utilizzato solo con accessori approvati dal produttore. Se i clienti acquistano e sostituiscono parti con accessori di terze parti, questa azione potrebbe invalidare la garanzia per questo prodotto.

Curve Scanner – This mode also doesn’t seem very useful. It will capture a curved surface and allow it to be uploaded into the app, and you can export it to a CAD program. It will give a map of the curve and provide the total length of the curve, but it won’t be accurate enough to build anything with it. I tried to use this feature to do a continuous scan of an entire room, but the resulting images were not very useful. Again, there might be a use for this mode that I can’t think of. All of the other functions work really well. I would recommend it for those, who want all those other devices in an all in one. After fully charging the device, half way measuring through my fifth room. The laser dot was very hard to see then started giving me an error that the laser wasn’t readable. I had to exit completely out of the drawing that I was doing, losing everything and start from scratch. Laser Measure – This is the basic mode that uses the laser to take a single real-time distance measurement. You can adjust the scale (1:1 to 1:100) and use the rolling ruler to take off measurements from drawings. Floor plan scanner (point scanner) Non mettere questo prodotto in acqua o utilizzare in condizioni estremamente umide. Questa azione potrebbe danneggiare la scheda a circuiti interni del prodotto.

3D Displacement

Scale Ruler – This mode allows taking measurements using the rolling wheel and will automatically convert the measurement into different English and metric units or different scales. This mode of operation could be used to convert a measurement on a scale drawing with various scale settings to a different length (probably only useful for scale drawings with no dimensions or smaller items that would be up-scaled to a larger size). Best with a tripod to create reference points for 2D floor plans. You can also use tilt mode to take off ceiling heights. There is a displacement mode for odd-shaped rooms. Curve scanner Currently, V1.7 for Google Play and Apple App Store the App adds value to the manual processes. It also connects via Bluetooth and is for firmware upgrades. Pro-Laser Area Mode – This will calculate the area of a rectangular area based on two measurements. This mode of operation worked well with no issues. Meazor 3D remains physically unchanged from its 2D sibling. It's stainless-steel frame is still pleasingly compact (approximately 100mm x 54mm x 21.3mm) and reassuringly flexible (retaining and building on 2D's 6-in-1 multifunctional laser measuring skills). The six core functions are a point scanner, scale/rolling measure (built using a long-lasting 4096-grade magnetic encoder), laser measure, curve scanner, protractor and spirit level.

The transfer button to the phone was really easy to use. I was able to manipulate my image after the fact, but this defeated the purpose of what I was trying to get it to do, this was a big con for me. After one minute, the laser measure goes to sleep mode. This requires exiting the laser measure mode by pressing the power button and restarting the laser measure. This is way too short and should be user-definable even if it affects battery life. Any data is safe in the flash memory. What may be annoying is that if you don’t use it for 30 days, you will have to recharge before use. User advice – things to be aware ofOUTSTANDING 3D FUNCTIONS: The VERY FIRST laser measure that allows you to move freely in any space and auto snaps every edge of the room. Supported by its 3D Displacement and 3D tilt Functions LIFETIME FREE APP TO COMPLEMENT ALL MEASUREMNT: With MEAZOR’s intuitive smartphone App comes in 7 languages, users can connect their smartphone via Bluetooth and can import designs, draw and edit plans, share and export 3 different types of CAD files seamlessly. The app also boasts space and dimension calculation feature. Also connect with MeasureSqr and Roomle iOS for professional use. REVIEW – I previously had the opportunity (several years ago) to review the Bosch GLM 50 C laser measuring tool. Six years later, it still works great and it is my go-to laser measuring tool. But considering that it might be time for an upgrade, I jumped at the chance to try the MEAZOR 6-In-1 Compact Laser Measure tool made by Hozo Design. Bosch is the gold standard when it comes to small laser measuring devices, so I am interested to see how the MEAZOR “measures up” to the Bosch (pun intended). What is it? Questo prodotto non deve utilizzare caricatori o cavi di ricarica incompatibili; queste azioni possono causare danni al prodotto, incendi, esplosioni o altri pericoli. A consumer may not have the skills to use all the Meazor features or the app features. It is more suited to professional use or those that understand its functions.

Meazor 3D will capture the measurements for a multi-room scan up to 40m (131ft) and its '3D Tilt Mode' means it can easily navigate around any obstacles already in the space, such as furniture, to return an accurate measurement of the room. The vertical orientation also means that room height can be captured as part of a scan, with '3D Displacement Mode' allowing the user to move freely around the space while the device captures and auto-stitches all the edges of the room. Results can be exported to four common CAD file types and then easily imported for use in blueprints and the like. Level – This mode is a two dimensional bubble level when the device is sitting flat on a surface, or a one dimensional level when on its side. Please note that this is a pre-release unit, and not everything is fully enabled. The beauty of this device is that firmware upgrades can fix any minor bugs and add new features. The measurement function that I wanted to perform was a simple square room, on the first attempt I found that the measurements were off. I made sure to follow through with all of the instructions. Placing the device nice and level moving everything out of the way that would get in the way of the corners I re-measured. The measurements were a little closer. I chalked this up to user error. As I continue to practice, the measurements got closer and closer I decided to give it a test of a harder room, like what you see in the illustrations, and in the video. My room is a square with a pull out, looks like a hammer, I attempted to measure the walls and leave the pull out for last. There wasn’t a good way to get the device to capture where the pull out hallway is. Scale Ruler – This mode of operation doesn’t seem very useful for several reasons. First, you are using the rolling wheel to take the measurement, which is very inaccurate since you are eye-balling the starting and ending points. Secondly, most architects, engineers, or builders would not need to do this because most drawings have dimensions. There is no need to try to scale a drawing to find a dimension that is already on the drawing. Also, if scaling is necessary, is easy to do with a calculator since it is just multiplication. However, if you need to take a scale measurement on a map or some other drawing that is done to scale with no dimensions, then this would conceivably be a useful feature. The one other benefit of this mode is that it uses the rolling wheel to take the measurement, so if you set the scaling ratio to 1:1, then it will just report the length based on how far you rolled the device. I can imagine that some items may be difficult to measure with the laser and it would be easier to use the wheel. I’d like to hear if anyone can think of any uses for this mode that I’m not thinking of.Curve Scanner – Similar to the point scanner, this mode utilizes the tripod to map a 2-D curved shape by rotating the device. The scan can be exported from the device to the app. The Future of Measure" might be Hozo overstating things a little (not to mention being a somewhat clunky slogan, probably not worth engraving on the side of the unit, all things considered), but Meazor 3D is undoubtedly the next logical step up from the original Meazor. That unit was very good for so many measuring tasks. This new model expands those capabilities in every direction.
