About this deal

This festively decorated cheesecake was inspired by a recent trip we took to Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida.

Being this cheesecake is baked without a crust, I had to come up with a way to attach one after it was baked. I poured chocolate ganache over the cooled cake then topped it with a mixture of cookie crumbs and some more chocolate ganache. Candy melts can be used (and don’t require tempering – just melting) but they will change the flavor of the hot chocolate bomb. My daughter and her friends loved the flavor of our pink hot chocolate bombs made with pink candy melts, so it really comes down to personal taste preferences. MORE DISNEY POSTS FROM PASSPORTSTAMPS.UK Add the cake mix, dry pudding mix, eggs, water, and oil to a large bowl. Mix on low speed for 1 minute, then increase speed and mix for 2 minutes. To make the crust, you may need to reheat the chocolate ganache if it has firmed up too much. Just microwave it for 10 seconds, then stir.Pipe: Use a large round piping tip to pipe a large, even dollop of frosting on top of each cupcake.

Place the bowl with the chocolate over the boiling water and carefully whisk the chocolate until melted. Continue heating and whisking until an inserted candy thermometer reaches 90ºF. Remove the chocolate from the heat and turn off the stove. Getting to watch the treats being made is even more exciting for me. My husband had to go find a bench to sit on more than once because I spent so much time chatting with the candy makers. Whip the heavy cream on medium high speed until it reaches soft peaks. Whisk the cooled chocolate mixture briefly and then fold it into the whipped cream. Pour the mousse into the large dome molds, filling about 2/3 – 3/4 full. Pop the dark chocolate mousse domes out of their molds and gently press one into each white chocolate dome. Let the mousse set in the freezer for at least four hours.Fill a large bowl with 8 cups of water. Place the gelatin sheets in the water and let rest for 5 minutes. Remove the gelatin sheets from the water, squeezing out any excess water. Add the gelatin sheets to the sugar mixture and stir until combined. Pour the sugar mixture over the chocolate and let sit for 2-3 minutes. Add sprinkles: Pour the red sprinkles into a shallow dish and press the bottom edge of the frosting into the sprinkles until the circumference of the cupcake. While chocolate is melting, make two slits onto the tops sides of the donut, about 1/2″ deep. Slide a milk chocolate wafer into each slit to make the ears.

Use a spoon or paintbrush to swirl the chocolate around the entire cavity to form your half chocolate sphere. Place the dipped cake pop in a bowl of sprinkles and rotate around to cover the bottom half of each cake pop. This chocolate cake pop recipe is easy to customize for different seasons or parties just by changing the flavor of the cake or color of the sprinkles.

Bistrot Sweet Delight is only available with the Gusteau and Emile set-menu at Bistrot Chez Rémy. 30th Anniversary Rainbow Macarons These tiny treats are deliciously French (Image: passportstamps.uk) I thought it was so cool to see two Savage Brothers chocolate tempering machines, just like the two I have in my candy kitchen, on the kitchen counter in the Main Street Confectionery shop. It's nice to know they use pure chocolate to make most of their sweet treats. Place the melting chocolate wafers in a heat-safe metal or glass bowl, or the top pan of a double boiler.
