Approached by the M.E.N, Shnuggle say their investigations revealed the 'unfortunate accident' happened because the bath had not been fitted to the stand correctly. A company spokesperson said: "At Shnuggle, safety is our highest priority, and all our products are fully tested to all applicable safety standards by independent UKAS accredited labs. Never leave your baby unsupervised during bath time even for a second – why would you want to miss this precious time together? Trust us, your little one will love splashing and moving about in the bath, so please be careful! We want to make sure as with all baby products, that the Shnuggle Bath Stand is assembled correctly and that the Shnuggle Baby Bath is fitted correctly to the stand each time its used.
