What I like about this manga is the art style is larger and a bit more pleasant to look at than some other isekai manga. The character design is alright, but they did do a very good job with the MC. Because of Arc's full body armor, people who meet him for the first time always mistake him for a knight.When the word "generic" is thrown at something, it's almost more insulting than calling said entity "bad". Something that's described as bad can still have that connotation of originality while generic media already has the disadvantage of being similar to other entries right out the gate. This isn't to say that that quality is an immediate reason for discouragement and original != good by default, there can be great reinventions So, what are the good things about it? The art and animations look really good, being that it's handled by Studio Kai and HORNETS, it never gets to the point it's hard to look at, in the end, nothing too amazing to talk about. The action scenes are okay to watch and the characters look unique other than being Kirito-esque drawings. The story elements in this show are actually somewhat decent and are the reason why I kept watching other than the somewhat ok story. Arc's body possesses immense physical strength. He is able to forcefully bend open iron bars without issue, send straight punches that release strong air pressure, punch holes in stone walls, punch massive holes into ships, and is also capable of strangling and manhandling large monsters with his bare hands, all without the aid of magic. I haven't skipped one opening yet because I'm so in love with the OP! Pellek (a YouTube cover artist) got a chance to shine, and mannnnnn this one's a BANGER! Nuff said. The Ending is also a nice banger as well!

Absolutely having fun with this anime! The OP always hypes me up for a good episode and Arc's personality is always a blast to watch! His pet is also quite adorable and the anime carries a nice charm to it. Arc later travels to Diento and hears rumors that a band of mercenaries vanished near the base of the Calcutta Mountain Range. While doing some hunting in the forest, Arc is ambushed by a band of thieves, but he easily dispatches them. He finds the thieves based in a cave and slaughters the remaining men. Arc beings to salvage what goods he can take, and comes across a strange green fox creature in a cage. Taking pity on the creature, Arc releases it and heals its wounds inflicted upon it by the bandits. Rather than run free, the fox chooses to remain as Arc's side, to which Arc names it Ponta. According to Felfi Visrotte, Arc reminds her of Evangeline, the first founder of Great Canada Forest, though it is noted that Arc is considerably more respectful than Eva. No remembering of anyone or anything of his old world outside of that. No feeling of caring about anything like that.
