About this deal

Twists, turns, truths, lies, and some really nasty characters - some new, some not! The Camel Club again is thrown into a fact finding mission, plus they are on the run from someone or a couple of someones wanting them dead! Great read for those that like espionage thrillers. Trouble at home was the reason for Link to move away from home. Link felt betrayed by his family because no one was looking for him, there was no one who cared about if he was alive or dead. Brianna and Andrew Lincoln are middle-aged thrill killers, independently wealthy from a patent Andrew obtained for an optical scanner he invented while practicing medicine. The couple moved to Paradise and began selecting random people and murdering them while videotaping their crimes. Later they find erotic pleasure in watching the videos of the murders while having sex. Jesse and Luther pay the Lincolns a visit and briefly interview the couple, who show interest in the murders. As they leave, Jesse tells Luther that the Lincolns are the killers. Robert Swindells lives on the Yorkshire moors and is a full-time writer. He has won the Children's Book Award twice, for BROTHER IN THE LAND and for ROOM 13. In 1994, he won the Carnegie Medal for STONE COLD, and also the Sheffield Book Award.

After Link's father abandons his family, Link's mother starts a relationship with a new boyfriend, who forces Link out of the family home in Bradford. Link, now homeless, decides to travel to Camden, London. Here he meets Ginger, a streetwise homeless man, who takes him under his wing. Link and Ginger work together and become friends.Stone Cold is a young-adult novel by Robert Swindells, published by Heinemann in 1993. Set in Bradford and on the streets of London, the first-person narrative switches between Link, a newly- homeless young man adjusting to his situation, and Shelter, an ex-army officer scorned after being dismissed from his job, supposedly on "medical grounds", with a sinister motive. I liked that the story didn't have a happy ending. While I would have liked that, it wouldn't have been realistic at all, and therefore would have undermined the issue it was trying to represent. Not long after, Annabelle learns that her cover has been blown and Jerry is coming for her. It's up to the Camel Club to help Annabelle survive. Annabelle will also get help from two other people, one her estranged father, Patty Conroy who she has not seen in years. The second person is Alex Ford, the secret service agent who was part of the first book. The writing (often in vernacular) was very engaging and relatable. I thought this was an effective way of helping us understand the characters better.

I can't remember this much but i swear there was a murder thing going on but i will have to find out as my memory is so bad and I am not even joking on this matter. Annabelle Conroy, an honorary member of the Camel Club, is also the greatest con artist of her generation. She has swindled more than forty million dollars from casino king Jerry Bagger. Now he's hot on her trail. Then a new opponent, who makes Bagger's menace pale by comparison, suddenly arises. One by one, men from Stone's shadowy past are turning up dead. Behind this slaughter stands one man: Harry Finn. A doting father or an unstoppable killer with his lethal bull's-eye on Oliver Stone? Overall I think that this novel is very good and I would recommend it to fans of realistic horror novels but I think most people would enjoy because of the various theme that it uses. It is definitely a novel aimed at the older reader as the ideas in the novel can be a bit heavy going and may scare younger readers. I would rate this novel a 3 out of 5.He is part of the reason why Link moved out. Even Carol moved out because of Vince’s behavior at home. I liked the protagonist and felt his story and motivations were explained in an interesting, understandable way. I enjoyed seeing the world through his eyes.
